Happy 2014 everyone!

Well, after a long hiatus, I finally attempted something! I tried anyways. It's been ages and what better way to try and make a comeback with a fanart of a kick-ass show! Regular Show! I just started watching this not too long ago, and it reminds me a lot of my friends and I. It's slacker/bro/game humor and that's what hooked me onto the show. The way Mordecai and Rigby interact is exactly like how me and some of my pals interact at times!

2013 was a tough year. Tried to open up my heart again to a girl who just played games and trampled it, professional issues, self-doubt, anxiety and other things. All of this (plus a car accident and a death in the family towards the end of 2012) had caused me to not care about making art any more. Self-pity is a drag but we are only human. Even though I'm glad 2013 is forever gone, it wasn't the worst of years. I thank God it wasn't worse. There were very bright spots at times. Someone is always going to be worse off. It's all a part of growing older. These are the kind of things school doesn't prepare you for. The real world is cruel at times, but there's also joy to be found! God gives us our trials and it's up to us to never give in! Suck it up and move forwards!
