Also, I love love LOVE your use of radiosity here: his chest is clearly lit by the light diffusely reflecting off of the rocks you drew in the upper right-hand corner. I love seeing radiosity in any picture, and you've used it well.

Well, your recoloring is astounding. ^^ What really catches my attention is how the background mixes well with the character: with that hair and that recoloring, he does look like he belongs to the water element while still being real.
