Just a small doodle dump I did lately – probably to check if I am able to come up with more than one gas mask design ^^' I was considering putting this in the scraps section due to low quality, but then again I am pretty happy with the overall effect.
A short info on the following:
1) A full head two-parter mask with double hose. I guess the whole contraption consist of a rubber hood covering the head save the muzzle and a breathing apparatus placed over the mouth (hence the strap to keep it on). Classic lenses plus a posture collar. The air tanks / filters would be located on the back
2) A similar full-head design. The difference is that the filters are located on the sides of the head, slightly under the hardened rubber “plate” located over the head. The eye-lenses are replaces with much more narrow, horizontal “slits”. The air is delivered either thru the side filters (if the air isn't polluted too much) or via the mouth-hose.
3) Another full head mask, almost the same as #1. The difference is that the breathing apparatus is inserted to the mouth like a gag – the dragons mouth is actually semi-opened, biting the breathing tube, while the rubber hood is wrapped tightly around his head and holds everything in place.
4) Face only mask. The ears and top of the head are uncovered, while the lower part and the neck are coated in rubber. Lenses are held in place via straps. The overall design is more stylized to the canine anatomy, having a lot of molded parts. The air again is delivered via a system of filters and removed thru vents.
5) Face only sculpted and stylized mask. The working mechanics is the same, but the design follows a anatomically correct rubber sculpt of a canine head. Strapped to the face by a series of rubber belts.
That's mostly it. I did have a lot of fun doing those, and will do something similar again in the future. Again sorry for the low-quality.
Hope You all like it!

Number 5, I presume?
I have to admit i do have a soft spot for that kind of detailed, shiny and somehow vacant design of masks

Thank you !
I like it a lot myself. It was partially inspired by a gas mask / rubber gear design i stumbled upon on DA some time ago.

Thanks and... awrrr ^^'
Well, technically I'd say that one can be actually crafted. The main element would be having a rubber mold of the face and later attaching it to an already existing gas mask. So it's not beyond the realm of possibility

As someone who adores gas masks of all sorts, it's difficult to say which one I like best.
I hear ya - sam problem here really. So many designs - only one head to wear them ^^'
Hmm, a lot of fun and interesting designs and impressive quality for each of them, I must agree! In terms of design, I have to place my favoritism on #3, personally~
Thank You!
Number 3 was fun to doodle indeed. I thought it would be cool to have a more "restraining" one - where the breathing tube functions as a gag and the whole mask keeps the head tugged tightly

Wow! Wszystkie wyglądają świetnie! A myślałeś może o projektach dla antropomorficznych koników? ^^
The first one looks like something an evil rubber doctor would wear, me likey.
The 5th one would be cool if you could make it IRL :D

Thanks and as i said in one of the previous comments - that one would be the easiest to make out of them all
Awesome I like especially from the first design, keep on working ^^
for me it woudl be the genral look and design of 3 with eyes from 2 and the tubes from 1 XDXD, but with a pernatratalbe muzzle as well :P:P:P just becuse mmmmmmmm
I thiiiink I like 3 the most! Very nice, though, for all of them ^.^
Thankies mr. Fox - i did have a lot of fun doing those. I might actually do a semi-realistic study of gas masks - using existing models and designs.
Great designs! I particularly like number 3 but they're all amazing :P
Hehehe~ Except for the neck brace, I would certainly enjoy myself perma-glued into a full sealed suit with such a mask >:3
