I don't think I've introduced my little beardie, Sawyer, to you guys, too!
She's a hypo citrus, and she's a doll. :>

If a Bearded Dragon demanded my wallet, I couldn't deny the request, mostly due to it's cuteness.
That'd be money well spent/ lost I reckon.

Oh dear, is the paint on your fursuit's eyes chipping?
And I love your beardie so much!

hypo citrus? she looks similar to my friends, we knew he was some kind of fancy coloring but not sure what, as the reptile shop owner didn't know any beardie ones. But we chose him based on being the most vibrant yellow one with a cool pattern. Is it possible he is one of those, or do you know other types?
well first of all, hypo is a morph and citrus is a color.
hypo is produced when breeding two dragons with hypomelanism traits. the product has a lack of darker pigment, etc. hence why Hypos, unlike normals, have light nails (as opposed to the usual dark, brown), lighter skin, and lighter eyes, etc. Citrus is a coloration, primarily yellow with occasional blues or purples. in this picture, she is rather dull. so if you're judging from this image, i couldn't tell ya. this isn't how Sawyer usually looks. do you have a picture of this friend's beardie?
these images are far better judgements of Sawyer's color. :)

and she is still young, so she will grow brighter as she grows.
however, ultimately if you're getting one from a pet shop, and they are not specifying the color/morph that it is (and if the price of the dragon was on the cheaper side) it's probably just a normal. Though some times pet shops separate "nicer" looking normals, that have brighter, more vibrant colors, and sell them a tad more expensively as "fancies".

MORPH thats the word I was looking for. Anyways http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v.....ps63c155ac.png thats all I could compile of him. The reptile shop isn't just a normal petshop, but they don't have special selections of beardie morphs, just age difference tanks. And the babies we picked him from were around 2months, some were browns, some tans, and he was yellowish. He seems to darken in the sun or when stressed, but usually he's that sandy/yellow mix. Not as colorful as your pretty girl though..so he may not be special at all and just a lighter normal one.
yeah he is pretty, he's grown so fast too..used to be so tiny (4in from tailtip to nose) and now he's like..well I dunno cause i haven't visited him in a while XD. But he's like 7 months old now. She was thinking of getting another I think, maybe I can convince her to find a cool morph (I'm wanting leopard geckos eventually, beardies are just too roughly textured for the constant herpanionship I want. aka: sitting on me as I go about my business)
Ask any small lizard. Heads are the best place to sit and relax.
Thats one pretty realistic looking bearded draggy doll o.o I must have one! D:
