A little screenshot mockup I'd done the other day of an idea for a sort of metroidvania style game I'd been thinking about recently. It's a little rough, but I forced myself to be okay with it so I wouldn't spend something like twice as much time working on it >3>

I do quite a bit of pixel art already on my own and for Sanctum Polis, but I was pretty new to doing backgrounds in this style so it so it was an interesting piece to experiment with.

I wanted to post it here because it's been a while and it's something I can actually show off lol
