This poor, sad cat is our beloved socks kitty after getting fleas and having to undergo a full flea bath, soak, and juicing by lemons(citrus repels fleas), in order to get rid of them all, and before we dried him off in a big, warm, fluffy towel, and before he reminded poor that he still has his back claws.
This is one of the most sad cats I've ever encountered, and while I know that he'll be happy now, and able to sleep without the bloodsuckers making him itch, I also know I should expect him to lip on top of my head as punishment for a while.... I'll probably move this to scraps eventually
Additional edit: After having researched on the ASPCA website and some other online sources, Nak and I found lemon oils might have been harmful to socks, however we only used lemon juice which we then rinsed off and buff dried him, ergo no lemon residue was left on his fur and he is safe.

AWWWWW POOR KITTY!!! D: I know the feeling. I'm still trying to kill all the bedbugs that came with my apartment...
A bath is only a temporary relief of the fleas on the cats body .-. Wont get rid of the fleas that have jumped off or the eggs that have fallen!
Careful with lemon as its toxic to cats and is actually a deterrent used to ward off cats >: He may have been even more depressed from the situation because of the citrus scent.

hurm, toxic how? we only used a small amount, brushed it lightly through the fur and then rinsed him and dried him. We also hosed down the house with a catsafe flea killer spray.
kitty cat is not a happy camper. he has the *you will all die and i will eat your corpse* look XD
lol it's a lie! sleep with one eye open for you are on that cats blacklist X3 jk
Dude, this has been around for years: http://amzn.com/B0002WPTZ2 I mean, haven't you heard of flea control before? Put this on your cat and he/she will be most comfortable. My mother has used this on her cats for many years.
actually, we used that on him, and it didn't kill the fleas at all, it made their numbers slightly less but he was still unable to sleep from scratching himself
Frontline has been pathetically weak this year, I went to the vet a few weeks ago for my own cat and my vet said that frontline may be unusable in a few years due to fleas slowly developing a resistance to it.
its old but i found this post ...and i must say they told this years back around 10 , thats frontline is useless and it is =) . try stronghold its the best and works. but cost a little more , but its a working product
Frontline isn't useless, some areas it's more effective than others, this year however it finally turned truely useless.
We picked up a little kitten 10 years ago and when we gave him a bath we saw he was being eaten alive. Poor sad Kitty, but he's OK he's fat and cozy today.
Ive had a problem with fleas with my cat, but not as extreme. Plus he loves to get in the water, sometimes ill be chilling in the tub and he'll come up and get in on his own
