If you consider that Mawile are derived from the legend of the "futaguchi onna". I don't remember the exact translation of it, but there is a Japanese legend where, in a situation where a woman is hurt at the bottom of the head, the wound could become a "second mouth" that the woman has to feed, until the mouth kills the woman, or something like that...
