i think it's really cool how the shading can give the eyes an entirely different expression
Holy crow thats fantastic airbrushing. Really puts it in perspective when showcased next to the "original" fur colours.
Looks great. Which airbrush colors do you use, I feel like the one I use, just made the fur sticking together and also if one washes it with the wash machine all the color is washed out.
YOU FREAKING AIRBRUSHED THIS ENTIRE THING????????????
HOLY CRAP THIS IS AMAZING
YOU ARE SO FREAKING TALENTED DO YOU EVEN KNOW?

I have no idea how you do this. You make such realistic animals so consistently. Amazing! I hope you continue to create for years to come because I am so enjoying seeing your works. One day I hope to own one of your creations. ;)
The time that must of taken. DANG. I once saw a video of someone doing a tiger head from white to color, and it looks like it takes a long time.
EDIT: And a question. How long did it take anyway?

this is so amazing
How does the airbrushing hold up in the long run though? Wouldn't some of it come out after washing? Also, if you're just watering down acrylics from the tube, how is their colorfastness (I'm assuming you use hues unless you wear a respirator for some of the more toxic pigments)?
I hope you don't mind me spamming you with questions, I'm sure you get enough on a daily basis :P

This is amazing work it really is!! Did you do something to stop it from bleeding if it gets wet from sweat, rain, or cleaning, just curious. Or how does one clean a suit like this etc?
The inside surface of the fur is pretty much unairbrushed. and I would suggest wiping out the inside of the mask by hand with alcohol/water and letting it air dry. the outside shouldn't get too dirty I would hope. just need to keep it well brushed.
gloves could be washed by hand with cold water and a small amount of detergent.
Touchups much later on would probably be a thing. and I would always be up to do free color touchups!
I'll do some airbrush testing on some fur and try it all out myself :)

Ah okies so sweat probably shouldn't make it through and the wipes should take care of the cleaning
Maybe watered down detergent? or just a drop Im curious since Im going to be trying to make some part myself soon XD
Aw that is very awesome of you!
Cool sorry to bother I was just curious about it
But seriously this is gorgeous

I'm actually doing a little experiment right now with my own tiger partial's gloves :) washing one in the washing machine with a small amount of detergent and the other in the sink with a bit of detergent!
Holy hell this is amazing! I can't even comprehend what I'm seeing :O

the end result was posted on FB by the best of deviant art so I had to post this in a comment to show all the amazing hard work... its still magnificent! I love it you are trudly a airbrush god lol
May I ask a question?
How do you make the fur lie so flat, and blend so well to the black base around say, the nose? On some blacks I have seen, the nose is raised slightly so it's more levelled out with the height the fur adds. And as for the blending, I just don't understand, how do you get it to look so natural / for the backing to not show at all?
I've been so curious about this for awhile.
