Final project for my modeling class - my baby (a.k.a. my guitar). This time we had to texture the thing, too. I gave it a render in Blender to cap it all off. Enjoy!

FUCKING GREAT! And that's an ESP guitar...i can't remeber the model though...but it's like...$250-700
Nah, It's my Schecter C-1 Elite. Got it for $600 at a Guitar Center sale, but I think it retails for around $900. Thanks for commenting. :3

Is that a stock wood texture or what? Also I like the marbleystainedglasskindathing pattern on the edges.
Just a texture that was in my library. Most of them were found somewhere on the internet, and may have required editing to make seamless.
Stuff around the edges is supposed to be the mother-of-pearl inlays that come on the guitar. Couldn't find a photo or anything, so it's just made from a Blender procedural texture.

I tried to make a similar texture once, but couldn't think of a decent procedural way of doing it. It's mainly the different colours in each segment that was causing problems.
Yeh. I just used the voronoi color noise to get a rainbow of colors in there, then downplayed the Red channel in Photoshop and did some freaky things with curves and layer blending for the saturation variation. Fun stuff.
yeah I first was going to guess that it was a ESP/LTD Viper m-1000 but i saw the headstock so I assumed it was a Schecter lol
great job on this
