Not wanting to be too much of a spoil-sport, you sit and quietly finish eating your lunch as the two students continue chatting with one another. You wonder if Jeremy has really never tried talking to females before or if he was better than he thought all along. Either way, it's nice to see that you've actually helped improve someone's life. Once you teach the kid to get a quick meal, you're sure it will improve even more. However, to do that, you're going to have to leave this little cafe.
After a few minutes, you stand up and stretch, still getting used to walking on two legs. "Alright, Jeremy, zip your trousers up and let's go to the mall. We can find you some more 'educational materials' and maybe I can get a new set of clothes. No offense, but your sense of fashion isn't really all there."
The blue scaled lizard turns a bright shade of red and, much to your amusement, actually takes you literally, checking his pants to make sure they're zipped. No wonder he's a bully magnet; not only is he a nerd, but you're pretty sure the dictionairy has an autographed picture of him under the entry for 'gullible'. He and Amarante share a quick parting, and then the two of you leave.
It's easy enough to find the mall, the place is freaking huge. You can't help but think that this is just some giant trap to lure college students who are no longer under the yokes of mommy and daddy to spend their tuition money on something that's not school related. It would be easy to go into a long conspiracy based rant on how this is all a vicious economic cycle where people spend all their money and then have to perform menial labor in order to get more money to spend, but you feel like even Jeremy would roll his eyes at this. Instead, you try to scout out the crowds as your lizard companion struggles to find a parking space.
After a walk so long you could swear you're in the next city over, you and Jeremy find yourselves in the atrium of the overly crowded mall. "Alright, Jeremy, let's start looking for something you might find interesting..." Unfortunately, the lizard's already absorbed in a map of the mall and not paying you any mind. With a heavy sigh, you wander over to him and grab his shoulder. "Hello? Trying to help you here..."
Jeremy looks up from the map and smiles. "I love this place. They've got the biggest arcade I've ever seen, an amazing video game store, and the people at Super Buy have all the best electronics. Where do you want to go first?"
"We're not here to buy a television or play video games, Jeremy," you say with a harsh edge to your voice. "Are you wanting to find someone to eat or not?"
The lizard sighs, pulls out his phone and starts texting away. It seems like you're going to have to find someone for him to eat on your own. Heck, if he keeps behaving like this, you'll just find something to eat yourself!
Feeling like a mother with her child, you begin to drag your young student through the mall, eyeing the crowd for an easy choice. There's people everywhere and most of them are rude and violent, even having the nerve to shove you out of the way. Ignoring the urge to just start scrafing people down, you continue your journey.
Eventually, Jeremy starts whining and you stop walking long enough for him to vanish into a restroom. Deciding to attempt to pick out a meal for yourself, you walk up to a girl and lean up against the wall, looking as cool as you can. "Hey there, how is it hanging?"
The girl turns and stares at you. She's slightly shorter than you, her entire body covered in light brown fur. Her tail sways side to side in annoyance as her eyes glare at you. "Ugh, what do you want?"
You keep yourself calm with images of her struggling in your stomach helplessly and smile. "I was just checking out the sales and noticed you. What's up?"
"Not you, loser." At this point, she notices your eyes resting on her rather large rack and she smacks you before storming off. A growl escapes your lips and you start to follow, ready to fill your stomach, before remembering Jeremy. What's taking him so long?
Returning to the restroom, you tap your claws in irritation on the floor. Eventually, you walk in and start calling out. "Jeremy? Would you hurry up? Did you drown or something?" You start to grow concerned after receiving no answer and begin to search, only to find the bathroom completely empty. That lizard has ditched you!
Storming out of the bathroom, you search the crowds and find nothing. Well, you have a good idea of where he might have went. Maybe you can turn this into a good situation... Chances are if he's comfortable with the location, he might be more comfortable being a predator. Although, he could have gotten himself into trouble and that would definately not be good...

I like arcades, and it looks like Jeremy does, too. Though I wonder if someone meek like him could really have the guts to ditch someone. Especially someone trying to do you a favor. Especially someone trying to do you a favor who could and maybe even would eat you.
...
Has he been kidnapped?! Or what was that texting business about? Was it Amarante?
Oh the possibilities!

I would say to search for Jeremy at the arcade. I am concerned for him. <.<
Ugh, dang lizard. He probably went to the arcade, that's the quickest satisfaction for the gaming urge compared to buying a video game to bring home or buying electronics to bring home, set up, then use.
Arcade!
Arcade!

I suppose pursue the cat. It's a 100% thing, while Jeremy might not even be at one of said locations.
