I love the atmosphere of this. Mysterious and Scary yet relaxing, makes me want to know the story of that strange old tree and the canine beside it. It's quite intriguing.
Wow this turned out gorgeous, despite (or maybe because of?) the struggle the tags suggest you went through painting it
Butholyhell- I really dig the color palette! I think that you made it work and it gave the image that much more depth. :)
WOW!!! amazing painting!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAH!!! THE KEYWORDS!!!! XD
Wich is the size of this painting?

Why does this piece possess such a strong, potent David Lynch/Stanley Kubrick vibe? 83
Rhetorical question, really... I truly dig the use of colors in this piece. This... marvel. That's what it is. A marvel. Anyone who suggests otherwise is either A.) colorblind or B.) insane. :) Yer-bugger.
Your organic textures flourish so thoroughly in your artwork, its always such a thrill to gaze upon... astonishing doesn't even cut it by a fraction! ;D

(This also goes beautifully with the Pavement song of the same name.)

Yay! Thanks. I was wondering who took it. I found it on tumblr unaccredited and super high me apparently thought it was a great idea to try and paint it. ;]
Well you should start painting when high more often then. X-D The colors are breathtaking and the landscape has that believable quality which I love but is so hard to obtain with saturated colors. Is it acrylics or oils?
Love the "impossible colors" and the lighting! :D <3 (And you actually did this while high? Was it from all the paint fumes?) XD
I love the colors! And chocolate colored wolves are gorgeous!
The original photo is stunning.
This is beautiful.
You are fucking brilliant.
Your technique is awe-inspiring.
I made this my desktop pic.

Oh and I so love/ relate to that song... Being the 'old dude' who still goes clubbing...
This is beautiful! I love the color palette you've used, as well as the continuity between the tree and the coyote. The textures in the rocks are really well done. You continue to inspire!
Bristlecone Pine trees are so crazy cool @.@ 3,000+ years old, some of them.
Powerful! That sky is intense and so is the texture of the ground! Could you post a ink to the original photo that inspired this? Just curious!
This has got to be one of the best pieces of art I ever laid eyes on! Amazing, amazing... :)
