I never go to events where I know people will be trampling each other to get to the newest 'rare' limited edition records like Record Store Day fiascos. But, I didn't know this record was going to be released in black vinyl format a week later and I really wanted a copy, having seen it live with Neil Patrick Harris. It was phenominal. So, my boyfriend and I headed down to the local (bleach) Newbury Comics for the running of the bulls. I was looking for 2 things. this record and a remaster issue of the Doors "Strange Days" in Mono. I was able to bypass all the idiots converging, pushing and shoving each other in the center of the store and snag myself this Lp. My boyfriend got the Doors LP for me. I took my purchases to the counter, cashed out and got the hell out of dodge. If I had known Hedwig would be released in black vinyl a week later, I never would have bothered.
