I LOVE YOU. I was wondering since I've been seeing a lot of people do this lately. I work in a different method entirely but very occasionally I do want to do something like this and usually just hand paint the edges. This will be so much nicer!
This is some damn wizardry right here that I'm going to use more often.
So relevant of my problem with lineart ! Thanks for this tut' I'll use it next time I draw :D
Holy shit, Onta, you've been spitting out amazing tutorials that really fucking help me... Like I wanted to know this not too long ago and you provided!! <3
Seriously, thanks!~
Seriously, thanks!~
Woah...WOOOOAH That is AMAZING! DUDE! You just made coloring so much more easier! :O Thank you!
You know; I was so close to figuring this out... so close in fact, that I did this exact thing only to ruin it by using a brush to fill... damn, it seems like such an obvious thing now. Thanks for these tutorials; I've been lurking on them for a bit now; but it's the small things like this that really help my OCD.
What would you do/how to tweak this method with a single layer that is just lineart?
oh, i've been doing it all wrong... i would use the bucket/wand method, lol
Does it's only with Sai? Because I dont use this :( I use photoshop and the exemple look to be in SAI.. Just a question ^^'
It works fine in any program, you just need to get used to Photoshop tools and you will get how to do this toturial
Having tried this method, I have some across one problem. I follow all the steps and fill the color in, but when I have a dark background, there's a fine line of the fill colors showing up outside of my lineart layer. Is there a work around this?
Might be good to get the selection smaller again. Generally, follow all the steps in the tutorial, but right before filling it up - Invert Selection - Increment - Invert Selection. Works pretty ok for me
You have just opened up my eyes! O__O Is it legal?!
Goodbye, dull hard lines!
Goodbye, dull hard lines!
PS, I used inverted selection before, but it's useless without adding the lineart layer into selection
