This an acrylic painting I made on a ceiling tile (2ft by 4ft) for a gaming shop I go to
I actually paint pmed this a LOONGG time ago, hah, maybe about 4-5 years or so.
Looking through my art album, I saw this and realized I should post it to FA!
Ok, i know It's not "furry art" but.... It was art, made by a furry. So.... It still counts.
The painting is of the "Magic the Gathering" card, called "The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale".
It is a veryy powerful legendary-land card. And, It just so happends to be my favorite land card in the game :)
The Tabernacle is a key strategic card in my Treva Commander deck, and it's so fun to use!
for those of you don't play MTG (Magic).... This basically means it is very "special" card, because it has certain abilities other cards don't. It's also rare, and ubsurdly expensive cus it's old and over-powered. Hahaha
Anyway, the store had a few other of its' cieling tiles painted by other artists, so i asked to make one too.
The owner gave me a ceiling tile, and I ended up making this :)
It now hangs ever-so proudly over the heads of players and customers who enter the store. :)
And, might I add I personally think it is one of the more beutiful paintings on their ceiling
BTW, I am putting this in my "Gift art" folder, because technically this was a free painting I made for the store.
Lol, I could have charged the owner, but I was just so damn happy that he gave me one of his ceiling tiles,
and allowed me to paint something that would be publicly displayed.
This game store also hosts MTG tournaments, and I know that any semi-serious Magic player knows what this is a painting of. Because the tabernacle is just awesome, and pretty well-known. :)
I thought that just having my artwork on their ceiling is still great publicity for me too!
And its a nice example of how I use different art styles & mediums.
So no, I didn't ask them for money or anything, but they were nice enough to give me some very generous discounts on a bunch of stuff <3 So that was cool
**** Please leave a comment for this! Id love to know what people think about it!*****
