In his career as a bounty hunter and gun for hire, Masamune has collected and mastered a large array of weapons. The following, while not his only options, are his typical choices to bring into action.
Five Finger Cyclone 8 Round .357 Magnum Revolvers:
These are the handguns that Katashi, Masamune's predecessor and teacher would use as his own personal weapons. Masamune was given them as Katashi's last wish that he use them to take down their yakuza boss Takuro. Their large size makes them somewhat unwieldy for most, but Masamune's own large stature allows him to stabilize his shots, making them quite deadly in his hands. They can be loaded with standard .357 rounds as well as armor piercing, hollow point, or even .38 rounds. They are reloaded via a top-break action similar to the MP412 Rex or Schofield revolvers. For faster and more effecient reloading, Masamune carries several preloaded cylinders for his pistols which line the waist belt of his harness.
Maverick 12 Gauge Semi Auto Shotgun:
This particular shotgun was a prize taken by Masamune for handling a dangerous drug cartel leader operating in Las Vegas. The cartel was run from within a casino, a very profitable front. After doing his research, Masamune found out that the cartel boss had a reputation for dealing with his enemies in person. And as the gangsters were making constant vast quantities of money, it only stood to reason that if that profit were threatened they would retaliate. Masamune then devised a plan. He would cheat the casino out of a large sum of money, forcing the gangsters to confront him. The further he cheated, the more agitated they became. Finally he had won a total of $610,000 when the cartel had finally had enough. They asked him to meet with their leader, saying he wanted to "congratulate" Masamune on the incredible win streak. It was an obvious trap, but he complied as he knew he could turn it against them. As soon as he entered the boss's office, he snatched away one of the guards' concealed weapons, making short work of the cartel goons. Only the boss remained, cowering behind his desk. He reached for his shotgun and attempted to fire at Masamune from cover, but instead was met with a can of hair spray tossed over his desk. Staring at it in confusion it exploded with a loud blast and blinding light, a flash bang in disguise. Masamune used the opportunity to smash the butt of his pistol upon the cartel boss's head, knocking him out cold. When he cuffed the unconscious crime lord, he couldn't help but admire his unique shotgun. It bore many attachments and modifications, included a gold plated receiver. Masamune took the gun as a souvenir of the successful bounty mission.
Blacksquall 7.62 mm General Purpose Machine Gun
In Masamune's yakuza days, his gang Heavy Arms were living up to their name primarily as weapon smugglers. They could find the most exotic and deadly firearms anywhere in the world and would offer them to other syndicates at a premium. Controlling the guns meant controlling the money. But Heavy Arms wasn't content to simply smuggle and steal other people's guns. They assembled their own firearms research and development crew, using a factory for producing industrial machines such as conveyors and trash compactors as a front. One of their first successful weapon designs was for a general purpose machine gun chambered in 7.62 mm. It was designed with an octagonal ammo drum which would slide upward into the bottom of the receiver, similar to standard assault rifles. Heavy Arms produced a small number of the weapons before Masamune killed the syndicate leader, effectively shutting down all operations. Later the weapons and blueprints would be repossessed by the authorities, only to be auctioned off to the Yamatora Tech corporation, who made their own improvements to the weapon before selling them openly to armed forces worldwide in limited numbers. Masamune still carries one of the original prototypes and uses it regularly on his most dangerous missions. It still has it's original wooden furniture, and the stock bears one of Masamune's favorite phrases. "The meek shall inherit the earth, but the wicked shall pave the way".
Starsteel Bushmaster Machete
Ever since giving up his yakuza life, Masamune decided against carrying the trademark katana often used by members of his syndicate. This sharp hacking blade became his substitute after fleeing to America. A very effective cutting tool, it can shred straight through wire fence, steel piping, or even flesh and bone with little effort, and it's serrated back can saw through wood and other thick materials, allowing Masamune to carve his way in or out of a tricky situation. It's saved his life on several occasions when his enemies got too close.
Once again, a long awaited piece by the wonderful pseudosamurai. Thank you so much!~

Zenith is also the name of a pistol in the dues ex universe: It can be modified with a laser sight, full auto mode, and silencer. There is also the zenith elite, which is golden, fires 3 burst when upgraded, and supports a 3 burst system instead of an full auto one: meant more for accuracy than dealing heavy damage.
