So I'd made a partial for myself back in March for Furnal Equinox (only taking photos... three months later...).
It was my first time making a fursuit of any type! Was a lot of fun, and a huge learning experience. There's a lot I would change in the future xD; Like making the head smaller.
The eyes were supposed to be covered in a clear dome, but I couldn't find the thick clear vinyl recommended in kemono tutorials, and there was no time before the con to figure something else out. So they just got covered in flat, clear acrylic. Next time!
I also made a fatal rookie mistake of... forgetting about a little thing called "needing to breathe". There's a hole in the beard, and I'd cut a slit along the mouth (which just ended up getting covered in fur). It wasn't enough lol. But the head base is made of Worbla, so now that I have photos for posterity, I can risk ruining it and try and heat it up to open the mouth. The head's unwearable for more than like 5 min as it is, anyway.
The hoof gloves are foam cut to shape, with Minky fabric on top. The hoof shoes are EVA foam, and they strap on to heeled boots with elastics, and velcro up the back, so I didn't ruin any shoes.
I've still got a lot to learn but I'm seriously considering getting into fursuit partials (don't really have the house space to deal with a lot of full suits). Thankfully I have multiple personal projects lined up to practice on ;3

This suit is absolutely ADORABLE!
Besides the construction errors you mentioned (curse needing air, amirite?) it looks wonderfully made as well!
I would totally consider commissioning you for a partial someday if you ever decided to try that out-

Air, vision, pffft... (the vision's actually alright until everything fogs up from sticking my head into essentially a plastic bag xD; Definitely adding a fan as well haha)
Gosh, thank you! T^T

There you go again you absolute creative madwoman, you ;w; I swear no matter what you do, be it art or crafting like toys/working with yo' hubbie on accessories and 3D printing and what not/and now fursuits, it comes out perfect. HOW DO YOU DO IT gosh ;-; it's honestly adorable.
I can't help it I just wanna make ALL THE THINGS @w@ (to be fair though we haven't done 3D printing yet! Neither of us know how to 3D model;;;; )
And thank you! ;.; <3
And thank you! ;.; <3
gah, i misremembered you guys's process for your sculpting ;w; was it all hand-crafting or using molds? either way y'all are too good at this <3
(My mistake there was /one/ thing we 3D printed then made molds of, but the modeling software was for children xD)
Hand crafting and then molds after that to make copies! Tom's the sculptor, he's gotten really good at the tiny things :> And thank you so much!! <3 <3

oh my god i love this!!! i almost cant believe this is your first head just based off of appearance alone. i really really love the eyes, it always makes me a little sad when i see a goatsuit without the iconic goat eyes, thats like, the best part of the goat!
Ahhh thank you!!
And I know right?? Horizontal pupils are so defining (and adorable)!
