Losing weight is a long process that involves consistency and self-discipline. As a reward, one proves accomplishment of a difficult goal. Last year for my birthday I decided to follow the work my sweetheart, Morgan, had done to lose all of the weight he gained. For him, we have gone shopping and found all sorts of lovely clothing to fit his lithe body.
For myself, I wanted an imagine that would capture my eventual goal, what I hope to reach by the end of this process and thanks to the immensely talented tiffany-tee, here is an image, a snapshot, that shows what I'm looking to achieve. When I six, I loved rainbow brite and my little pony and other assorted things guys are not supposed to be interested in. I put that aside to fit in after endless teasing at school, but the natural desire to not conform to the proper image of a male always stuck with me. This manifested itself in various ways, (see the hagfish commissions I've had over the years), but the desire to dress beautifully and be cutely cheery has never left me. It was just held at bay for a time.
This image captures how I wish to be and what I plan to work towards. A fae who looks goth and dangerous, but is joyful. Does not see himself as male in the traditional sense, but as a magical girl. His gender and the role of a male is something that just does not match who he is.
