Gorgeous painting! I recognized the background instantly, even from the front page thumbnail. It was just like -squints- "hey that's my city!"
Thank you! It was fun figuring out what details I could omit.
Wow. When I saw you streaming, I left when the eyes were being started (and were blue), but this is fantastic work :)
Thanks Toroka! Yeah I found out at the last moment that the eyes were actually purple so I shifted em.
omg the rainbow was hard. The fursuiter had a collar but it was not visible in the picture I used so I kinda had to guess it.
so long as you have the general dimensions of the color and the number of colors on the rainbow~
The second one, actually!
I've never tried a paint-over before though. I'd be curious to give that a go with something sometime.

Yo - that background turned out amazing! (I left the stream right before you started on it). Nice work.
Whoa. This picture feels like it's bridging between real life and art, and it makes for a very powerful affect!
Oh thanks, I'm glad that effect sort of got pulled off in this case. It's frequently hit or miss with me.
Thank you Kuro, your enthusiasm is contagious and I really appreciate it.
Aw thanks Myshu. I love trying to give eyes that "metallic"-type effect.
PLEASE tell me what kind of brushes do you use for your digital painting?? Great work!
I use a bunch from different people! I've just kinda been accumulating them over the past year or so. I suppose with this piece I mainly used a brush set by https://www.artstation.com/artist/peleng He has them posted somewhere but I forgot where. You can see the brushes in some of the videos he uploaded on vimeo.
