The model is now animateable and I have tried it with a four legged walking cycle!
Rigging took its time but the setup seem to work. :)
Even though it's not really perfect I have learned a lot of things again about how to rig and animate a 3D-Character in Blender while creating this.

That turned out really nice and fluid! Also, I love the over-stretching of the toes before lowering each paw.
What I think makes it imperfect is that the character leans to the left when lifting the left paw. When lifting the left paw, he should be leaning his weight to the right one, in order to keep his balance.

Hmm, I see what you mean. Not sure if that would be fixable easy...
Well... To be honest I'm not sure if I would worry about fixing it in this particular animation. Maybe just take the advice for future projects.
Very well done! I love the way his body seems to... "waggle", I suppose. It gives a very realistic vibe, and it's very smooth and natural looking because of it. The skin seems to ripple almost as well, like you can see the muscles working underneath the scales. The character in general is very well done and appealing to look at too, wonderful work.

Macro is a relative term. The tiny cities rolling down the treadmill know that all too well! *thoom thoom!* XD
