...aaaand here's a closer look at the arrow shaft. I have two different vines winding up and down with two different flowers - I believe I tried to stylize lotus blossoms and papyrus flowers. The colors were pretty much arbitrary...whatever colors I had at that moment I'm surprised how well the paint showed up after I stained the wood (it didn't look quite right, and I realized the wood needed to be stained AFTER I'd already put the paint on...thankfully my blunder didn't force me to start over again.)
