Sometimes those mysterious hardware glitches can frustrate you to no end. After hearing one friend's recent computer issues, this image came to mind.

that bat needs to be more a bounder I'm thinking! Hope he gets over thr troubles soon!
I have a issue with my desktop too.. the powersupply decided to fail..
If one fails to find the 'smoking gun', a sledge hammer applied to said PC sometimes allieviates stress.
thats what my old windows ME comp did and that was me, tearing it apart! "GRERRRRR WORK YOU *(&@^$(*@^$(@^$!!!! WORK!!!"
I have to agree with those who have advocated percussive maintenance. Whack it with something big and heavy. This has the advantage that even if it doesn't fix the problem directly, the resulting damage makes it obvious why the thing doesn't work.
*popup* windows has an updat to make you restart your computer again! cool huh? why do you still have vista?! it's so ooooold! get Windos 7 even theough it's the 9th version to come out! DERP!
Have you frenulated the occipitator frammastan? Obvious question, I know, but...
Maybe reversing the polarity of the neutron flow would be beneficial....
Poor frustrated batty, XD So cute though; I know exactly how he feels!
Oh so many truths portrayed in a single picture. Random ass glitches FTL.
I've never had this problem. o: I regularly take the side off my computer and spray the inside down with one of those cans of compressed air to loosen the dust off. :3
I have a Shuttle X and it works like a champ I keep looking for a 2nd one for a backup. It fits nicely in my 5th wheel it's only 8.5x8.5x 12 inch long...

ERROR: if you opened the computer on the left side all you would see is the back of the mother board mounting tray.
Depending upon the OEM, this varies. It's not a standard.
Guess what my day job is? :)

I had a similar feeling trying to make my brother's computer install the correct sound and graphics drivers, along with trying to get it to realize there was a second hard drive inserted. Usually that stuff is easy for me.
LOL , and here i thought that resembled my normal day with computers. it's electronic, if i touch it. something's bound to go wrong
Of course its not working, you dont have a drink in the drink holder!
The joys of owning and maintaining a computer made in 1999. I can attest to that.
We have had an IT consultant on site for about 8 hours in the last two days trying to figure out a glitch with our server...
We think we know what the issue is, but gotta wait until the weekend when no one will be using it to give it a try

be very careful when you do mess with it and make sure you cover your tracks so if you screw it up worse no one will know you did it.
Oh there's no way in hell I'm getting my paws on it. I'm just the messenger here
every tech persons favorit tool.... the hammer, if that dont fix it go for the hand gun.
Oh Lord, that's me with computers in a nutshell. Still don't know how I manage to crash most computer systems as soon as I get within a ten foot radius of them, but I take it as par for the proverbial course now.
Well, of course. That's an older tower with one of those motherboards that it takes a contortionist to reach. And then he's going to have all those master-slave issues with the devices and IRQs.
It's very similar to the way current generation Dell Optiplex and Precision workstations are laid out.
That is so what I just had to go through, I just want my magic fix it all button dammit.. It's the future already for crying out loud. And Why does everying still require wires.. Guhhh. Such a pain in the tail building a pc is.
man, i love computer problems, (being a computer nerd), can't wait untill one of my friends calls me up and says "there something wrong with ma computer, come and fix it, mate", lol
My computer first booted up in the summer of 2005........ today, it's suffering from all the laggys and such. If I had my OS disc around here, I would put it out its misery and start fresh again. Im really getting tired of the constant lags and freeze ups.
We once had a computer we had to take apart and put back together again and agian, just could not get it to work.. until our friend Nick picked up and gave it a hug.. then it ran Diablo 2.. (true story)
Computers need love too.

Really, all a computer needs to be able to do is run Diablo 2.
Hehe, this just happened to me, had to take everything out yesterday, then put it all back together in the middle of my floor, and it worked. At least my case is nice and pretty now, zip-tied the hell out of it so the cables don't run everywhere.
Anyways, cute pic :D

Conversation between me and the salesman.
Salesman: "All you need for a computer is a chair, a table and a bit logik."
Me: "I already got the chair and the table."

Mmm happened to me a couple weeks ago, cable modem kept losing sync. Cable tech came out disconnected coax, since the coax was grounded he got a horrible shock from my computer case as a current went through his arm to the coax. Tore down my PC and found a case fan wire had worn through on a drive cage...that and the wall outlet was no longer grounded. :S
