:COM: Hadari Rozaiska - The Dangerous Rosewind
Meet Hadari Rozaiska.
A morphic nargacuga of the Coral highlands; also known as the dangerous rosewind for a hallucinogenic powder that his tail lets loose when shaken, taking place of a normal nargas direct venom.
Should you be in the highlands and feel as if you are being followed and see a rose mist blow by you, prepare yourself! He's on the hunt! And you'd best be ready to hold onto your perception of your surroundings in that mist before he strikes.
Belonging to a variant of the monster hunter universe where hunters had found a way to become one with pelts, claws, and items of belonging to their hunts he hails from a far future where human hunters are even rarer than wyvarian hunters. A so-called feral who prefers hunting and living in the wilds over small collectives and villages of like-formed he stalks the Coral Highlands near the ancient landing of the continent's first settlers. He believes in mutual respect between the hunter and hunted. Looking down upon and hunting other hunters who would dare call themselves superior to the hunted. Making his turf quite dangerous to hunt upon for the hot-headed. He primarily wanders the middle-lower highlands many coral forests during twilight and night. Wandering to the lower vale during the day where he rests in the upper areas, collecting varying mushrooms he subsides on which also give his tail mist its potency.
In addition to normal nargacuga capabilities he loses the capability to inflict poison, but has a low to melee range ability to use a mist to disorient opponents and leave their environment warped and distorted in their perception. This effect and range decreases as he uses his tail spines in a ranged fashion, but can temporarily increase the range of his mist as it disperses on impact from the spine.

Battle Notes
-When wet coral highlands nargacugas glide to dry off. Perform tail slams build up dust again.
-Naturally ingests toxic foods so resistant to those, but physically weaker and natural attraction to pollen also gathers explosive dust from blast
-Utilizes pollen and dusts gathered from toxic foods and surrounding pollen to create a blurring effect in the target's vision.
-Cut the tail to greatly reduce dust attacks and tail bludgeoning damage.

Turf Wars
Legiana - TIE - The Coral Highland Nargacuga's thicker fluff leaves him unphased by Legiana's cold. CH Nargacuga out-damages Legiana on the ground, but Legiana goes airborne and harasses out of reach until the turf is ended.
Tzitzi - RNG - Tzitzi can either successfully flash CH Nargacuga and run, Unsuccessfully flash and get heavily damage, or Unsuccessfully flash with a second attempt followed by the CH Nargacuga tail bashing him to drive him off.
Paolumu - WIN - Odogaron style chewtoy match. Only with claw perching and more biting.
Odogaron - RNG (Favors CH Nargacuga) - Odogaron and CH Nargacuga are an even match and tire eachother out with a slight win chance for CH Nargacuga due to terrain advantage. Ties most often. (NOTE: Can be influenced after both hit exhaustion by laying food for odogaron to second wind him). Both leave in exhaustion state unless odogaron eats.

Originally an adopt, he's grown on me to the point of my own little world setting just for him, now used for some of my others~

Thanks~! I was very happy I managed to get him. Surprised no one adopted him sooner considering his adorable color scheme.
I really admire the design this guy has for being adorable, and still a danger. Especially when looking at his enraged eyes and tail. It is interesting to see another anthro nargacuga as an actual character.
Nargacuga is oftentimes one of my favorite monsters if I don’t include elder dragons. One of my favorite parts of Nargacuga as a whole is the deviant variant “Silverwind Nargacuga” which focuses on wind attack and a focus on knowing how to fight it.

I actually was originally just going to adopt as I like narga. I can't deny that, since there's plenty of evidence of others doing it, but about the same time I started playing my first monster hunter game world. (I knew of them prior and narga and the various monsters but never played them yet).
A few months and nearly 750 hours later I'm...pretty much not gonna deny myself a narga character any longer to PROPERLY use. His color scheme really does make him look more innocent than he would be to hunt as well. Fitting for what the highlands are in world.
If I was forced to rate things so far I think my favorite monsters are...Nargacuga (though i have yet to fight him. Eagerly awaiting it), Odogaron (I love the fight as it's very dodge pattern and feign based so your lose is your fault), and a certain corpse coat dragon.
Though some honorable mentions are definitely Tobi, tzitzi, and diablos.

I mostly found interest in Nargacuga as it was a monster that gave me a challenge in the demo of Monster Hunter Generations a few months before I bought the game, but was fun to fight and dance around with the Adept style. Infact, it was thanks to nargacuga when I learned of the deviant version and fell in love immediately. I mostly enjoy wind elemental creatures like make blades of wind with its tail that can cause bleeding is pretty nice, especially when cutting off the tail makes these blades of wind less of an issue.
Just to give you an idea for how often I fight Silverwind Nargacuga, I maxed out the main armor and a good number of weapons which often takes a lot of grinding. Oftentimes I even find myself fighting the Silverwind X Hunt ( The Level 10 Silverwind quest ) which is often times recommended with Multiple friends. But for me, 2 cats and adept Dual Blades ( DBs ) are good enough for me. Not to mention my total Monster Hunter Generations experience is close to 1,000 hours.
Now, I will be honest in saying I haven’t played Monster Hunter World enough to rate the monsters in there. Kulu ya Ku, Bazelguese, Paolumu ( I have an anthro one that’s pink and is the most adorable thing ), and Vaal Hazak are my favorites. For Vaal Hazak specifically, I commissioned an artist for a redesign of the Switch Axe for the monster with a more scythe like appearance. Though most of my favorites are linked to Generations / Generations Ultimate.

Odogaron is my grind monster, though I'm hoping to make my highest rank grinding nargacuga :3
I also have a morphic Vaal hazak design I'll be posting sooner or later.

Gotta love how the character look and the setting you came up for yourself, pretty interesting to see hunters literally changing themselves like that to hunt.
Well you know what they say. He who hunts monsters should become a monster to be even more effective at surviving and hunting!
....Wait.
....Wait.
This is a really neat character!
Also gonna have to start playing MHW again now. X3
