Finally: this damn courthouse scene is over. Now we can get back into the action and my favorite part of the story: the rousing conclusion where Dudley chases down and faces off against Lizzy McDinga to get Kitty back.
Of course that lousy lion lawyer is trying to postpone the trial. But the judge won't have it. He clonks him right on his noggin; and orders Dudley to be released. Take that Mr......Lion?
Wait a minute? It ain't even a lion at all. That's right all this time the prosecutor and district attorney was....THE CHAMELEON!!
OK be honest....how many of you saw this coming? XD
Well I honestly gotta say: the Chameleon looks like crap here. :-/ I don't draw him as often as I should. So sorry he looks like this. <=-(
But this does explain why he wanted to lock Dudley up so badly. The Chameleon would just have another good guy trying to stop him out of the picture: namely Dudley. So he tried to disguise himself and use the law to his advantage. The tables have turned in a symbolic gesture of the judge pounding his head with the gavel thus causing the Chameleon's suit to change him back.
Anyways: The Chief orders Dudley to go out and save Kitty. Don't need to tell him twice dude: Dud-Man's on it. ;D
This reaffirms the Chief's justifications that Dudley is indeed a darn good agent. Until Dudley slams the door of the already delapitated courthouse (thanks to Lizzy) causing the ceiling to come down.
Amongst the rubble the Chief admits Dudley is a darn good agent...most of the time. ;D
This court house scene out of the way: we are nearing the climax and conclusion of this tale to where Dudley must risks life and limb to save Kitty. The end is in sight.
