We lost Jadis, our 17 year old half-Persian harlequin cat, going on two months ago. Well... there's a lot of very dull exposition I can probably cut out of this, so I'll cut to the chase.
We adopted a year-old pure white shorthair female named Cassie about a week and a half ago. What the rescue organization neglected to mention, but which we worked out pretty quickly, is that Cassie is a pure white Siamese.
God help us. I swear, Ash is going to have a nervous breakdown.

OMG. Siamese can be fun... but it sure takes a special owner to appreciate. We have one ourselves (Yang) that I call our 'million dollar cat with a 10 cent head'. (all in good fun, of course.)
I will say that >>>THAT<<< is a "CAT CHAIR". Not because a cat is in it but because of all that it is, chair-wise. I know cat chairs when I see them.

I was debating bringing the 'cat chair' thing up, but then I got looking around and realized that pretty much *all* of our chairs are now cat chairs to one degree or another.
LOL. Yeah... we have several cat chairs, a cat couch, a special cat seating area in the bay window where they can watch the birds, rabbits, and whatever else happens to wander past the glass. Sometimes they even use me as a bed for a nap.
