"Hmmm." The blue kangaroo put a finger to his cheek, giving it a scratch in contemplation. He was currently staring at an expanse of cream fur on this obese werewolf's midriff. Not only was the werewolf's belly big, soft, and fluffy... it was also perfect. "As it turns out, I have been meaning to try out these new patches of mine. I suppose that is why you've come?"
The werewolf put his arm back down. He stared at the kangaroo silently for a moment before nodding. "Yes. A "Fat Transfer" patch, you said?" The werewolf's tail wagged eagerly.
"Sergeant Wolf, was it?" The blue kangaroo asked. Before letting the werewolf answer, he stuck his arm out, grabbing the werewolf's hand and shaking it. "Kygen."
"Uh, hello, Kygen?" The werewolf, though a bit confused, gratefully shook the hand before remarking. "So, what's gonna happen?"
"You see...." Kygen put a hand on the table behind him, feeling the plastic patch he had made a few days ago. "This is version 0 of my "Fat Buddy Transfer" patch. It transfers the fat from one individual to another."
"How?" The werewolf cocked his head to the side.
"Sciency stuff you wouldn't understand." Kygen began to rub the werewolf's belly. He was pretending to find a proper place to put the patch, but he was more enjoying the feeling of its softness. "Ahh, here we go!" Kygen patted Sergeant Wolf with the patch in hand, letting its sticky side stick to the werewolf's fur. Its surface had a dark blue arrow that pointed upward.
The werewolf took a few steps back. "So, uh... what's gonna happen?"
Kygen grabbed another patch, giving a wry smile as he did so. "We're going to transfer our fat content." He lifted his shirt and placed the patch, arrow-pointed-down on his own belly.
The werewolf watched, seeming to be interested in seeing someone take his belly fat away. This is what Kygen was hoping for. All he had to do was calibrate the patches....
Reaching to the arrow on the werewolf's belly, and his own belly, Kygen pressed them both at the same time. The blue-colored circuitry lit up, letting Kygen know the two were synced together.
"Alright! Now, keep that patch on you at all times. Avoid taking too many showers, as the prototype is not waterproof." Kygen looked at his clipboard. He still had a few more people to meet today. "Come back in a week's time and make sure to write down any changes you've noticed in your belly!"
The werewolf agreed to these terms and walked out of the office, leaving Kygen to smile wryly to himself. He was certainly going to enjoy eating tonight.
~~~~~
Groggily, Kygen woke up the next day. He knew it was exhausting to go through that entire process for all ten different subjects, but he was certain that his notes had worked out properly.
"Urk." He put a hand to his head and rubbed it. The grogginess he felt before exchanged itself for a massive food-born headache. "I shouldnt'a eaten so much last night...."
He sighed, shuffling out of bed and giving himself a good morning stretch. Feeling down for the patch on his belly, Kygen felt his heart drop.
"Oh shoot." He sputtered out, doing his best to crane his neck down far enough to see the sticker. To his dismay, the pajamas he was wearing had given way to a greyish colored ball of fur around his midriff.
He was fatter... and a lot fatter. But how was this possible? He thought he calibrated the patches so all food, calories, and fat he accumulated over night would go straight to that obese werewolf. Did he mess up? Was it the other way around now?
Kygen grumbled, slapping a hand to his face. He had instructed the other nine subjects to eat as much food as they could over the week. This way, when the Sergeant Wolf came back to him in a week, he could examine the progress the patch made on the werewolf's belly... but now it seemed HE was on the receiving end of all those calories. He messed up somewhere, and he needed to get to the bottom of it!
~~~~~
Kygen paced around his office, constantly patting his belly as he felt it getting slowly heavier. It was slight enough that, if he wasn't focused on it, he wouldn't notice, but with his shirt riding up his belly, he couldn't ignore it now!
There was a knock at the door.
"Come in!" Kygen remarked, standing up straight and trying to hold as calm a demeanor as he could.
The door opened. It was Sergeant Wolf.
"Ahh, there you are, Sergeant Wolf! I was wondering how the-" Kygen stopped mid-sentence. His mouth gaped open as he saw the werewolf's figure. He knew the werewolf was obese before, but his confusion was answered when the werewolf had trouble entering the room.
"Kygen... uh.... I think your patch... isn't working?" The werewolf huffed, hobbling himself into the room with wide, fearful eyes. "My belly just keeps getting bigger... and bigger.... I thought we were supposed to exchange weights."
"Y...yes." Kygen coughed, looking down at his own belly. "There must have been a malfunction." Kygen looked back at Sergeant Wolf, noticing the werewolf's patch was facing downward.
Downward arrow? Didn't Kygen make his arrow face upward? An arrow facing up meant it was the receiving end of a fat gain. Without any arrow in that position, that meant there was no one to properly receive all the fat the ten subjects.... That means it should have gone somewhere.
"Why is your arrow facing down?" Kygen asked, now curious as to what happened.
"My belly was uh... too fluffy, so it fell off." the werewolf scratched the back of his head. "Put it back on but forgot what direction it was facing. Is that bad?"
"Yeeeah, kinda." Kygen walked over to the werewolf, removing the patch and replacing it with its arrow facing up. "There we go. That shoulda fixed it."
"So I'll be losing all this fat now?"
Kygen, through angry scribbling, sneered. "No, Sergeant Wolf, any fat we got is... permanent."
"What?" the werewolf gulped. "But... I ate a lotta food."
"As did I." Kygen sighed, lifting his shirt to stare down at the patch again. It was still facing downward. "You agreed to this test, right?"
"Yes."
"There were ten subjects, excluding myself. Nine of them were informed of what would end up happening."
"But you didn't tell me anyth-" The werewolf took a step back. "Oh."
"I said we were having a fat transfer. The nine subjects and myself all knew you'd be fattened up if we ate a lot of food. Apparently, it worked." Kygen finished his scribbling, looking up at the werewolf with dismay.
"But?" Sergeant Wolf asked, his ears flattening to his head.
"Arrow placement was crucial, and I forgot to tell you to keep it as such." Kygen scratched his temple with the pencil in his hand. "With your arrow placed downward, like the rest of our arrows, all that fat had nobody to go to."
"Where did all that fat go, then? I pigged out on an entire buffet!" Sergeant Wolf cocked his head.
Kygen let his arm drop to his side. Exasperated, he lifted up his shirt to reveal his belly. "Take a guess."
"Oh."
Kygen scribbled a bit more on his clipboard. "Needless to say, I'm certain you've made several people very confused... and very fat."
~~~~~
A fun little drawing idea I had with inspiration from kygen. Turns out, there are people out there who want to fatten up Sarge, so it's not just himself... or Sarge trying to fatten up other people.
Needless to say, it seems that the world of fattening has finally noticed the portly werewolf!
