This is one of the first stories I ever wrote, and one of the few that have fatal vore in them. It's about a young human that gets lost in the woods and gets hurt, and a bear comes to help him with a problem of her own. Enjoy!
It was a beautiful day as Mason walked through the forest, it was peaceful and serene. He was on a hike to get away from civilization and the bustle of the city scene. Walking off the beaten path, he noticed a nice shady spot under a tree right next to a lake. Deciding he needed a break, Mason laid down in the shade. Within minutes he was asleep, unaware of everything that was around him.
****
A mother Bear trudged through the forest, dragging her latest kill. Unfortunately it was just one deer. Food was getting scarce in the area, this was the best she could find. It wasn't enough, she had two cubs back at the den to feed. This meager kill would only be enough for them. She was still searching around for more food for herself, but dragging the kill was alerting all possible prey of her presence. And she couldn't leave it unattended without the risk of some scavenger stealing it. Needing a breather she stopped, and dropped the carcase from her jaws. Sitting down she started taking deep breaths, that’s when she caught a scent. Something was just beyond the trees in front of her, near where she smelled water. Leaving the carcase behind she slowly trekked through the tree's. Once she came to the very edge of a clearing she could see the source of the scent.
There was a creature by a lone tree, but she didn't know what it was. From it's lack of movement she was sure it was sleeping, so she went in for a closer look. Closing in she discovered it was a human, indeed asleep. It smelled to be male, as well as sweet. Licking the bare leg she found it delicious. The human moved in his sleep. A thought entered her mind, but was interrupted by the smell of approaching foxes. Running off to protect her kill she forgot all about her idea.
****
Mason woke up, just in time to miss a large shape retreating into the trees. Since it was a hot day he decided to go for a swim. Stripping of everything but his boxers, Mason made his way down to the water. The cool clear water felt great on his toes. Taking a minute he stood there to let the sight of nature soak in.

The Mother Bear had returned to edge of the clearing, with the carcase in jaws. When she looked to the tree, her heart sank seeing the human had gone. Had she scarred him away, she wondered. Then she heard splashing and saw him ankle deep in the shallows. Relieved she proceeded to watch him walk about. It was then her idea came back into her mind. “He was rather big, and would make a hearty meal for her. Then again if other humans found the remains they would be out for blood, and she and her cubs would be in danger. The real problem was not only could she not bring herself to strike down such an unsuspecting and defenseless creature. But how would she dragged both meals home. One option would be to kill and consume her meal right here. But it would take hours to pick clean, and would leave ample evidence to what happened to him.
Deciding to move on the Bear began to move away, when her stomach began to growl loudly. It was hungry, and she knew it needed to be filled. So hungry was she, that she could devour that entire human right here. She revisited that thought for a minute, then formed a solution. If she swallowed that human whole she would only have to drag one carcase. Plus doing so would leave no trace that anything had happened to him. Licking her lips as she remember what he had tasted like, The Bear formed a plan to capture.
Even though she planned to devour the human, she could not bring herself to kill him. After all she was a mother, and even though he was into adulthood he was some human's child. She shuttered to think how she would feel if something happened to her cubs. With a growl from her stomach, the Bear decided it was time to act. Picking up her kill, she waited till the human had his back turned. Once he was looking away she began to drag her first kill down to the bank.
****
After spending ten minutes wadding in the water, Mason decided it was time to swim. Wadding up to his knees he prepared to dive in. But just as he was about to break the surface, he heard a noise. Turning around, he saw a sight that made his blood run cold. Moving down to the beach was a giant bear, and being dragged in it's mouth was a dead deer. Freezing in place, Mason was too scared to move. The bear froze too, dropping the dear from it's mouth. Not sure what to do, Mason had two options. One was to swim for it, but he was not that efficient of a swimmer. Not to mention he was sure the bear would be his dragging dead or dying body back to shore within a minute. His only other choice was to run for it. Sure the bear was faster, but at least he had more maneuverability than in the water. Unable to make up his mind, Mason stood still. In the end however the bear made his mind for him when it roared loudly. Terrified Mason took off towards the trees.
****
The Bear's ploy had worked, the Human was running away from the water. This was good, because there would have been no way for her to get him back to the shore, without seriously hurting him. Now she gave chase trying to get to him before he made it to the trees. Closing the distance in seconds, she faced a new challenge. How to stop him in his tracks, it was a hard decision. Normally she cripple the legs of the prey with her jaws. Or maul them in the back. But since she already had decided to do this without hurting him, she decided a new tactic was necessary. Getting along side him she made a powerful thrust with her side bowling him over.
The human fell hard to the ground, stunned. After taking a second to pant, the Bear lumbered over to inspect him. Using the back of her paw she rolled him on to his back. Then moving over him till she was over his chest, and began the process of sniffing him over looking for any injuries. Once satisfied he was okay, the Bear moved to his head. The human had recovered from the impact by then and was shaking violently. Not wanting him to be afraid the Bear nuzzled his face. “Shh, it's okay I'm not going to hurt you.” The human seemed little reassured by this. “What do you want?” He asked his voice unsteady. Since she didn't want to come out and say I'm going to eat you, the Bear was unsure how to answer his question. Suddenly her stomach began to growl persistently, giving her an idea. Moving off of him she gave him a chance to try to get up. When he did she reared up on her hind legs and grabbed his shoulders. Moving him, she place his head against her stomach, so he might hear her predicament.
****
Hearing the bears stomach making all that noise was unsettling to Mason. “As you can hear I'm very hungry,” said the bear in a feminine voice. Looking up to see her staring down at him, Mason could only see kindness in her eyes. “What is it you want from me, all I have is a few energy bars.” The Bear chuckled and pushed him more firmly against her stomach. “It's not your food I want to eat.” She said staring at him hungerly as she licked her lips. That was all it took for Mason to freak out. Standing up completely, he tried to push himself away. But the Bear grabbed him in a tight hug. “Shh, Shh, it's okay.” She cooed embracing him like a mother would with her child. “Like I said I'm not going to hurt you.”
Knowing he was not a fool, Mason struggled against her embrace. “You want to eat me, even if you don't kill me first it's still hurting me when bite into me.” Squeezing him tighter the bear chuckled again. “Not if I swallow you whole and alive silly.” Freezing at the idea of being alive in the bear's stomach, Mason started to shake. This caused the bear to hug him more securely, lifting him off of the ground a little. “It's okay, I won't force you into my belly. I will let that be your decision, just hear me out.” Still frightened Mason looked up at the bear. “You see I have two cubs waiting to me to bring them this deer. But it's only enough for them, and I can not find much else things are scarce. But I can't starve because there would be no one left for my cubs.” She was stroking his back now, looking off into the distance as she retold her tale. “So please let take your body for my own so that I may remain here for my cubs.” The bear was staring Mason in the eyes again, with such kindness. That made it a lot easier for him to answer. “No way, now please let me go.”
****
Saddened by the human's answer the bear felt her spirits drop. When she had first approached him, she intended to offer him a choice then if he said no, she would proceed with eating him anyway. But now that she had talked with him, seen him up close and saw how frightened and fragile he was. She could not take him against his will, it wouldn't feel right. Sighing she bent over and nuzzled his face. “You better hurry off then it's getting late. It will be dark in an hour and the wolves and everything else that would take you for food will come out.” The human looked up at her, an expression of relief on his face. “You really letting me go?” Unable to help herself the bear smiled. “You made your choice, I will respect it, now hurry.” Giving him one last hug, she pushed him towards the tree were his clothes were. Smiling he ran to his stuff and started getting dressed.
Glad she didn't do anything she would regret, the bear headed for the trees. Once she was obscured she stayed to watch the human get dressed and start making his way back. Once he was beyond the trees, she went to fetch her kill. Just as she was leaving for her den, wondering what she was going to do there was a loud scream. Fearing the worst she ran with her kill still in her mouth to find the source. When she did her heart fell. There was the human at the bottom of a small hill, he was clutching his leg. Dropping her kill the bear moved down the hill, sadden by his expression of agony. “What happen?” she asked sniffing his leg to access the damage.
“I fell and I think I fractured my ankle.” He tried to get up but only fall back down, crying out in pain. “Here let me help.” Said the bear as she moved beside him. Using her to pull himself up he tried again, but as soon as he applied weight to his leg he fell again. “I can't walk, how am I going to get out of here? Maternal instinct kicking the bear started to nuzzle his face. “It's is okay well find another way I promise, you can come and stay in my den.” Getting up on one foot he tried to walk along with her, but fell down again. “I'm not going anywhere unless I'm carried.” He was pretty heavy, she would have to leave her kill behind. “Don't worry I will carry you, my cubs will just have to go hungry to night.” She could see his face fall, and he started to shiver from the decreasing temperature.
“No they need to eat just go don't worry about me, I will be fine be myself.” As if on cue the sound of howling wolves could be heard. “No,” she said. “I will stay and protect you.” Laying down the human closed his eyes, his face tense from the pain. “Thats not an option, you cubs need you what if something happened to you, they would be helpless.” Unsure what to do, the bear laid down on her side. “This is hopeless, now what will I do?” The bear placed her paw on his hand, when her stomach growled loudly. The human's face lit up. “I guess there's only one choice, you will have to carry me with you.” He said reaching out and patting her belly. “No we will think of another way.” she said. He stroked her head gently. “Don't worry you need to eat so you can be there for you cubs, this way something good comes out of it. This is a sacrifice I'm willing to make.” Whimpering she stood up ready to protest, but he was already struggling to take his clothes off.
A deep sadness filled the bears heart, but she knew he was right. Not wanting him to suffer at someone else's hands like the wolves, she decided she would take him for herself. “Okay, I will do it.” The human had already taken all his clothes of except for his boxers. It was then she realized she had a question. “Tell your name before I do this, so I can always remember who I should be thankful to.” The human lied down and closed his eyes. “Mason.” He said. Smiling she nuzzled his chest.” “Well Mason I just want to thank you for your sacrifice. And to say that I'm going to take good care of you I promise.” Mason relaxed on the ground and gestured at his feet as a starting place.
She stood at the end of his body staring down, not sure she could do this. Then she reminded herself she was doing this for her cubs so she could watch than grow up. And for Mason so he wouldn't suffer. Her mind made up, she bent down and licked his toes. She was ecstatic at the flavor.
****
This was it his life was ending already, at such a young age. But he was helping a mother out, so there were worse ways to die. He laughed as The bear licked his feet, tasting him. After thirty seconds of this, he felt things need to move forward. “Come on it's going to be dark soon, I don't want you to walk back in the dark, slowed down by all my weight.” Looking up the bear gave him a sad smile, then she opened her jaws incredibly wide. Mason slowly lifted his feet into the air, moving them towards the bear's gaping jaws. As the Bear steady her head, Mason inserted him feet, resting them on her tongue. Moaning the bear moved her tongue around them. Shivering at the sensation, Mason moved his feet to the back of her throat.
Looking at him the Bear seemed to scared to continue,“It's okay go ahead, for your cubs.” He reassured her. This seemed to strengthen her resolve, the bear moved her mouth further up and took her first swallow. Shifting uncomfortably, Mason sighed as he felt her esophagus latch on to his feet. Bracing himself as she took another swallow, Mason slid a few inches across the ground. The pressure on the fracture in his leg was getting intense, causing Mason to wince. Picking up on this the bear stopped swallowing. “Keeping going, The sooner I'm in you belly the sooner the pain stops.” She smiled around his legs and took several vigorous swallows, bring her to his knees. After taking a minute to breath, the bear started up his thighs. As she swallowed repeatedly, the pressure on his leg increased. As the base of his leg entered her mouth, Mason was starting to be lifted of the ground.
Taking his arms, Mason moved them to his sides, placing them in the path of her mouth. Slowly moving her head forward, the bear got his hands in her jaws. Moving over his boxer's the bear looked his direction a depressed look on her face. “Your half way there keep it up.” With four more powerful swallows, Mason was up to his waist, the bear was panting around his lower half now. After a minute of rest, she resumed her task. Beginning to swallow once more, she moved up Mason's stomach. The pressure on his leg was getting unbearable, but he did his best to keep a straight face. But from the look on the bears face she knew he was suffering. Which might have been why she picked up the pace, as she began on his chest. Just as the pain was getting to be too much it was relieved as his feet entered her stomach. “Keep going, and soon I will be in you belly.” He said closing his eyes and smiling at the thought. Smiling around him as well, the bear began to raise him off the ground.
With her right paw, she supported him from the base of the neck. Slowly she continued raising her head, till it was slanting up. Feeling himself start to descend faster, Mason moaned starting to loose touch. With her body all the way in up to his neck, the bear stopped. With his neck in her mouth her paw was free, so she used it to stroke his head, making physical contact one last time. Then moving up, she tilted her head back as far as she could with him in her throat. Once that was done she just stood there, as if unable to finish. “Thank you,” was all Mason could manage before blacking out.
****
Unsure she could finish she stood there, considering letting Mason back out. But then she heard him say “Thank you.” That was all she needed to hear, as well him going limp in her mouth. Knowing this was the best time to finish while he was out, she took her next swallow. As Mason's chin moved into her jaws, she could feel her stomach beginning to distend as more of Mason's legs entered it. Straining upwards to increase the incline, the bear took another gulp. The tilting had a big impact, as half of Mason's head slid into her jaws. Whimpering under the strain, the bear took a second swallow. Then a third and a fourth. Mason's head was now at the back of her throat. Moving her tongue to get one last taste the bear took a second to prepare herself.
Then wishing there was another way the whole time, she made a final series of large gulps. Mason's head moved past her throat, and down her esophagus. Her belly continued to swell, as it pushed against her back legs forcing them to spread in order to accommodate her belly. Once she felt the last of him curl up in her stomach, she let out a long sigh. Her stomach was now stretched to the limit, loud groans could be heard from it now. The pressure in her stomach was intense, she actually kind of felt like Mason wasn't going to stay down. “It's okay Mason, you just stay put.” She said as the pressure shifted to a more comfortable position. Smiling at her success, the bear shifted her stance as her stomach settled. She had never been so full in her life, the feeling she was having could only be described as euphoric. “Mason if you can hear me, I want you to know you were delicious.” Licking her lips she took her first step carrying her new found girth. Her stomach lurched to one side, causing her to moan loudly. Throwing caution to to the winds she began to walk, enjoying the feeling of her belly swaying back and forth. Her stomach was now so big it almost touched the ground, as well surge out to the sides somewhat.
As she walked she failed to notice a large rock that went between her front legs. That is until she pushed her low hanging belly into it. The pressure went through the roof, and the bear clenched her jaws hoping Mason would stay down. But instead all that happened was a loud gurgle came from her belly, as the content of her stomach shifted slightly. Suddenly the pressure was making it's way up, her gag reflex forced her jaws apart. An unbelievably loud belch erupted from her throat, and at the same time the pressure was relieved. “Oh excuse me,” she said blushing through her fur. “Thank you Mason, for staying put,” she said panting.
Realizing she didn't know how big Mason had made her, the bear craned her head side to side trying to get better look. When she couldn't view her belly she sighed, she was about to give up when he saw a large tree. Waddling over to the trunk, she pulled herself into a standing position. “Oh my,” she purred getting a proper look at her belly. Her stomach surged out in front of her, with a large curve. Moaning at it's sheer size, she began to explore it with her free paw. As she began to caress it, the bear found a spot on the top holding some pressure. She continuously prodded and caressed it until the pressure came up. A soft belch escaped her lips, causing the bear to lick her lips as she tasted Mason once more. “There you are safe and sound.” she said giving her belly a gentle pat, then began to rub it firmly.
This continued for several minutes until she heard a loud groan came from her belly. Then the oddest sensation of her stomach being stretched in different places. It took the bear a few seconds to realize this was movement from within her belly. “Mason can you hear me?” He must of finally come to, but wasn't able to respond. The movement continued, increasing in intensity. Moaning in ecstasy, the bear leaned her back against the tree to free up both her paws. Rubbing her belly firmly she could feel the outline of Mason's body. “This is wonderful, it's just like being with cubs again.” She cooed. It was then she finally felt the effect this was having on her spine. So she got off the tree, and laying down she rolled on to her back. Staring at her belly, all the bear could see herself as was pregnant. Spending the next few minutes fantasizing Mason was a cub she was carrying, the bear caressed the bulge he made moaning loudly.
When this came to it's end, it came to the bear's attention that she could barely feel Mason's movements. Realizing his life was coming to the end, she gave her belly a tight hug. “It's okay young cub, momma bear is going to take good care of you. Just sleep now and forever dream.” The bear continued to hug her stomach as the movements got weaker and weaker. After a minute they stopped completely, it signaling that Mason had passed on. Sighing softly the bear gave her belly another gentle pat. “Mason I will never forget you or what you have done for me.” Spending the next few minutes cuddling her belly, the bear closed her eyes and relaxed. After a while her belly started emitting loud gurgles, as it began to churn hard. Her stomach going to work on it's content, she smiled stroking the bulge. “That's it bring us together, forever.”
After spending several minutes listening to her stomach's final lullaby for Mason, The bear remembered she had hungry cubs back at her den. A little sad she couldn't take more time to enjoy her belly, the bear grunted as she rolled on to her feet. Groaning from the strain she made her way to the dead dear. As she moved several loud groans and gurgles were issued from her stomach, as it strained to contain it's burden. “Ohh please hold it together.” She begged her poor stomach. Bending down she picked up the dear, her neck aching after passing Mason's body through it. Panting around the dear in her mouth the bear made her way home. It was tough going, she had to stop and lay down to rest her body several times. But after an hour of trudging through the woods she finally made it home.
Coming in she dropped the dear. Instantly waking up, her cubs rushed over. “Mommy, you're back.” Cried one. “Did you find us something to eat?” Asked the other. Smiling she nudged the dear towards them. “Eat up my darlings, theres plenty.” As her cubs teared into the deer, The bear waddled into back of the cave. Still feeling a large amount of gastric pressure, she laid down carefully. On her side she relaxed as she cuddled with her gurgling tummy. It would take week or two for her body to fully welcome Mason in, and she would spend almost the entire time in bliss. Rubbing her stomach she dozed off for a while.
Eventually she was roused by her cubs nudging her in the back. “You to done eating,” she ask drowsily. “Yes, mommy it was good.” said on cub rubbing against her back. “We are tired and want to sleep with you.” said the other. Stretching the bear looked over her shoulder, happy her cubs had had their fill. “Okay but you will have to cuddle more closely, theres less room than usual.” She said rolling on to her back, her stomach bulging out on top of her. “Mommy what happened to you belly.” asked one of the cubs shocked. Smiling the bear put her paws on her stomach. She moved the bulge from side to side, as it make soft sloshing noises. “Mommy made a new friend, who gave her an offer for a dinner she couldn't refuse.” She said blushing under her fur. “When do we get to meet him?” asked one of the cubs.
Trying her best to smile, the bear couldn't help be feel sad. “He had to go somewhere faraway and won't be coming back. But I know he would have loved to have met you to.” She said nuzzling them both. “What did he give you to eat?” Asked the other cub.” Smiling again more broadly she said. “Something very special and delicious. But never mind that get up here.” The two cubs climbed up, one made the mistake of getting on her belly. “Not on my stomach sweety.” She groaned as she let out a small belch. The two cubs hunkered down, both snuggling against her belly. This made the bear very happy, as if they were accepting Mason as one of their own. They were together now, all four of them and they always would be. As her cubs drifted off to sleep, she stroked each them. “I love you both. She said, then turned her attention to her belly. “You too,” she said rubbing the bulge. “Welcome to the family Mason.” After a few minutes of caressing her stomach she fell asleep as well.
