Gradually the changes slowed, evened out, and stopped. The tremors that shook the tunnel abated. He stood panting, simultaneously feeling a great sense of exertion, fading confusion, and burgeoning power. He turned his head, looking about the mining tunnel. His head now scraped the ceiling, the walls tight to either side where once he had been dwarfed by the size of the excavation. The pickaxe and cloth scraps at his feet, and even the massive sledgehammer against the far wall, suddenly looked fit for dolls.
He could feel the living rock around him and reached out with his new senses. Each stone and gem was a bright gleam in his mind, each mineral vein and rock formation clear as day. And far, far below him, beyond this thin brittle crust of rock, he could feel the incredible heat and pressure of the mantle, slowly flowing in great convective currents, compressed in a state somewhere between solid and liquid… and beyond that even the unbelievable heat and energy of the dense iron core itself.
And then it hit him: he could feel this energy, could access this power. He was part of the earth itself, a fundamental primordial aspect of it, part and parcel of the land. He drew its power around him, into him, the heat filling him up inside until he felt he would burst from it and the aches of his transformation faded away beneath a surge of power.
The tunnel trembled and shook as he drew forth an Earthquake and the beginnings of an Eruption, the black marble cracking underneath his feet as he pulled molten rock to the surface from the inner workings of the earth itself. In a fit of excited energy, he roared and stomped the boulder in which he’d found the Fire Gem, and it crumbled easily under his large clawed foot. Larger rocks began to fall as the ceiling around him cracked and began to cave in. Support timbers creaked under the stress, splintering, and the mining lights flickered and fell dark. The fire gem glowed at his feet, glinting in the darkness, fueling his power.
Time to see just what a Legendary could do.

I love this <3 personally would love to see a sequel to this <w>
welp, greed got the best of him
at least the ending wasn't grim
speaking of which, is he still a "him" anymore?
*Legendaries do not have genders... oh dear...

Some miner in on of the entry ways: *Hears Groudon* How did Groudon get into the mine!? we had surveillance on its entryways 24/7
Me walking up to him: *Uses data-pad to check list of mining employees* *sees Phil on that list* "Asks" Did Phil enter the mine before you heard after Groudon's Roar?
The Miner: Yesss... oh my...Phil is still in there! we must go aft- *I cut him off*
Me: Do not even try it the mine is showing signs of a potential cave in if you try all you'll end up being is a number to a statistic in mining casualties in this country if I were you I would get the Heads and tell them to order an evacuation of the mines.
The Miner: But what about Phil? An...and who even are you, your not a head of the mining company.
Me: *Shows special ID* I am not I am a special freelance agent in world security and other's lives are at stake now do your part in your union and call the heads for an evacuation before a cave in from Groudon actually happens and more then just phil will be in danger!
The Miner: *Clearly in distress runs off to alert the heads*
Me: *looks at the mines from the entry way* *sigh* (Of all the times phegal... of all the times...Cant you turn into something that won't be overtly destructive?...)
