This comic version of my original story has to end at this point because of personal realizations. Sorry, I will try to do something about it in the future.
realizations?
like what? just wondering its a huge clifhanger to leave off of

It's a bit better explained here https://twitter.com/brunder_lizard/.....836234246?s=19
Yeah basically this is as much as the artist echin can do without drawing the parts he won't draw...

Hey love the comic but the link to the story doesn’t work. Any idea how I can get to it?
I kinda feel bad for saying a negative comment but this comic was a whole lot of build up for a whole lot of nothing. I didn't apreciate the "journey" at all, I was just waiting for something to happen and now it just ends abrubtly with some sort of cliffhanger. I don't think it's Echin's fault. I think the script just doesn't go nowhere and the drawings just get wasted.

In my opinion the finale is great. brunder received what you would like to see at the beginning of the comic book - huge hard and pulsating muscles as well as huge strength and only you wonder how the research influenced the psyche of the lizard Personally I am looking forward to Brundera's performance in bodybuilding competitions and showing that a huge lizard is a master Thank you for this great comic.

I'm sad that the comic is over, but the story, wording, art and pacing turned me on so much, right down to my core. Part of me really wants to see what is awakening in that bear's beautiful body and what it will change in him. Same with Dr. Agon and his story. I truly love how you explore the incredible miracle that is the male body and the untapped strength and power that is sleeping deep within, on the atomic level.
If I credited you, would you be alright if I wrote fan fiction inspired by this story and the characters? Or would you rather I not? I do want to respect your wishes and credit you where needed.
Thank you again for all of this. I will be reading and re-reading this for many years to come, and I truly hope that you will create more in the future. Lots of love to you, always.

Thanks a lot for your interest and I'm very glad you enjoyed all these characters developments, some more detailed than others ;)
What kind of fan fiction, like a non-canon story? Just the characters and environment? What do you have in mind?
You're very welcome. I really really hope to find some time in my everyday life to keep writing and sharing my ideas and completion of this story. It's already in my mind ^^
Thanks for enjoying this little universe! :D

Jaja, si lo ví. Gracias por seguir mi historia y espero poder hacerla y terminarla ahora si como yo la concebí originalmente
And that's the part where the "good" doctor begins to have *second* (naughty) thoughts about his test subject and decides that maybe the contract isn't so binding from where he stands (though maybe he regrets not including a waiver) Just what reasons could he have had to change his mind later on? Is he really doing this project for kicks?
Very sorry about the rough patch you're going through for the time being. It sucks when people don't understand the difficulties behind creating a work exactly the way you pictured it in your head when they're just insisting on you giving them exactly what's on the package label.
(Not gonna lie, I read your comic on U-18Chan and the reception/comments about it are so toxic! Seriously! They all say the same thing about your comic having the no-NSFW rule, which by that, I mean: they curse it, stomp their feet, and point fingers with not a single drop of empathy! Like, I can understand that if readers want a show, the artist ought to give them that show, especially if/when said artist already promises it, but could you have made that known and clear without being needy pimps about it?)
I'm not quite sure about the whole '10 years or less'-plan you had in mind, but if you want, I could recommend you/suggest to you the names of a few other artists who are just as good as Echin, if not better, who could possibly be completely willing to do the comic your way (hypothetically, my best guess anyways) and take you up on your terms and conditions, but that'll still need to be talked about first.

Dr. Manning has this sort of epiphany as he realizes that he wants such muscle power on himself, he wants to get big, strong and beastly muscular as Brunder. The job at the lab is to develop special formulas, this time based on Brunder's samples under Manning's leading research, which looks very promising. The lab makes them and sells them for bodybuilding supplement makers and such. That's the original plan, but Manning now wants to secretly apply that for himself since he has total access to all these "unlimited" resources since all this project is under his command. And for that he will need to get more extractions from Brunder, keeping him sedated and beast minded. The contract was only applying for one, but no one will question why is Manning suddenly changing plans.
I think echin's work is widely known in the fandom, the vast majority knows that he doesn't do NSFW. I thought at first this would be ok to me despite not making my original story as it should be. I wrote this original story more than 5 years ago, I was kinda desperate to see my story a visual reality. But at the end I realized and decided to stop and better start over, wait and get a comic by another artist (or by myself if possible) that really makes justice for my ideas.

So the doctor's two-faced behavior is because he decided he wanted a taste, huh? Snatch a sample for himself off the production line before the final product hits the shelves? Talk about abuse of power! Someone needs to re-educate him on the Hippocratic Oath.
Though to be honest, the story left me with more questions and hypotheses than answers in my mind as to why this incident happened the way it did. I can tell you what they are if you're curious.
Would you still like me to name you some artists you could ask to commission your comic anyways?

Sorta, they don't mass produce, they make formulas based on samples. Manning take secretly some of them and experiment on himself to get huge.
What incident? You mean when he escapes?
What incident? You mean when he escapes?
By incident, I mean the entire story/saga, from beginning to end: from the invitation to the extraction procedure itself to captivity and then the escape.
Oh I see, I'd like to hear your ideas about what and how is gonna happen.
Actually, what I had in mind were more like guesses or theories. Again, the story left me having my fair share of questions. Until now, I wondered:
Could Brunder have been held captive for 'knowing too much' because he affiliated himself with Potentia Labs? Maybe to prevent him from spreading/sharing 'unnecessary' information?
Is the director secretly infatuated with Brunder and is looking for ways to 'make' him his? Or does he get off on watching Brunder squirm in beast mode? (Does he keep Brunder's confiscated suit and undies just to sniff them in private?)
Did the director ever intend to let Brunder leave after he was 'done' with him? Did he intend on repeating the EPP selection process with future bodybuilders or did he think he was all set with Brunder? (In fact, if he did repeat the EPP selection process, would he keep that new bodybuilder as well, putting the guy alongside Brunder and milk them just like on a farm?)
Did the director keep Brunder because he was too lazy or cheap/stingy/penny-pinching to find another bodybuilder?
Was Brunder that good of a bodybuilder (perhaps too good) that no other bodybuilder would yield the same results or fulfill all the requirements as he had, let alone be better than him? Would that mean the director considers Brunder as perfect - a sort of unique/special/one-of-a-kind/once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that can never be replaced or doesn't show up often, thus he didn't want Brunder to slip through his grasp?
Did the director always think that the contract he offered to bodybuilder candidates/volunteers was just a formality/piece of paper? That he never needed consent?
The director could've just asked Brunder to participate in the EPP again in the future. Was he worried Brunder would refuse the next time round?
How long was Brunder in the lab for, exactly? From what I know, you said he was there for 'many weeks'. Is there a number? In addition, how long did it take for him to get back home? (Potentia Labs is an hour away by car, according to the story) Did anyone back where he lived and worked notice and react to the fact that he was away for so long?
These are all I have so far. I might have more that I may have forgotten or didn't think about - if I do, I'll bring them up later. And again, if you like, I could name you some alternative artists for your comic.

Oh my that's a lot of questions. When I have the proper time I will sit down and answer all of them, thanks for understanding.
Don't worry, take your time. I will patiently and eagerly await your answers.
Also, just a couple more things I forgot to mention earlier:
1.) If the possibility of the director being infatuated with Brunder is true, would he, besides keeping Brunder's clothes, try to touch him/feel him up, or even use him to satisfy his own lustful desires, whenever he's alone with him? (while he's still drugged and unconscious/exhausted, of course)
2.) After Brunder escaped, the director had Mike and Dennis try to chase down Brunder and recapture him, and when they failed, planned on doing it himself, revealing his own new musculature as a result of experimenting on himself with serums made from Brunder's samples. He kept Brunder because he wanted muscle power for himself, and it looked like he finally succeeded. Why would he insist on capturing Brunder again when he pretty much already got what he wanted? Was his work not yet finished or is there something else/more?

Originally it was a "one extraction" contract, with all the confidentiality implied. Of course they didn't reveal to him the complete information about the procedure, as in scientific levels. Just the practical part of the procedure so he understands enough what they will do to him. It was Dr. Manning's sudden change of mind during the extraction that made him violate the agreement as he decided to keep Brunder (lethargic and/or beast minded) captive for more extractions, no one questioned this since he's the director with total power and command for the whole project. Eventually Dr. Agon will plan in secret Brunder's escape.
Is the director secretly infatuated with Brunder and is looking for ways to 'make' him his? Or does he get off on watching Brunder squirm in beast mode? (Does he keep Brunder's confiscated suit and undies just to sniff them in private?)
Well, surely there is something going on in Manning's mind during this that he can't explain clearly, he just wants to feel that power in himself, he wants to be as big and muscular as him. He has the technology and unlimited access under his control to make this a reality, of course that's not part of the plan, their job is only research and develop new formulas and substances for muscle development purposes, used for bodybuilding pharma and nutrition supplements. They keep their suit and posers he wore before stripping naked for the extraction, maybe this new fixation on getting muscular made Manning sort of secretly "obsessed" so he can fulfill his other senses by using Brunder's intimate clothes.
One extraction was the original plan, if the results were satisfactory they will plan future future extractions, if Brunder agreed. This results would be more depending on the science department as they did a lot of tests to a big number of potential candidates, Brunder qualified as the best option for this.
Did the director keep Brunder because he was too lazy or cheap/stingy/penny-pinching to find another bodybuilder?
His change of mind was more like "If I can keep him now that he's under my control, I will do, so I can reach what I now want for myself". Under the excuse that he needs more extractions for more research.
Was Brunder that good of a bodybuilder (perhaps too good) that no other bodybuilder would yield the same results or fulfill all the requirements as he had, let alone be better than him? They did a very high quality research and tests to a large number of heavyweight bodybuilders, it took several days of exhausting selection. If Brunder got selected, is for a very very good reason.
Did the director always think that the contract he offered to bodybuilder candidates/volunteers was just a formality/piece of paper? That he never needed consent?
There were never contracts for the rest of candidates, they were formally invited to volunteer for the selection process, the extraction procedure was never revealed to them. They only knew that in case of being selected they will get the contract and work for Potentia Labs research project.
The director could've just asked Brunder to participate in the EPP again in the future. Was he worried Brunder would refuse the next time round?
Well, that we'll never know since Manning changed plans.

Well, I don't want to go too far with these sort of details since that's not the purpose of this story and to be focused on. But well let's say Brunder lives alone so there is no one to look after him if something happened. And the lab is pretty retired from the city, and it's not really that highly guarded like in the comic panels with men with guns and all that, like a secret of the state or something.
If the possibility of the director being infatuated with Brunder is true, would he, besides keeping Brunder's clothes, try to touch him/feel him up, or even use him to satisfy his own lustful desires, whenever he's alone with him? (while he's still drugged and unconscious/exhausted, of course)
Manning secretly started experimenting on himself, at very late hours at night, at the gymnasium area. He prepared his body by wearing only blue posing trunks behind his large white lab coat, he injected serums he developed for himself and also getting drugs for getting beast minded under controlled dosages, so he can perform all those intense bodybuilder workouts, he really enjoyed getting that masculine feeling of taking off that labcoat, revealing his almost naked manly body and becoming a beast in front of his eyes and pump those muscles to their limits, lifting more and more weight with every rep, flexing off and watching the astounding and relatively fast results on his own body, evolving and developing more muscles and definition. Feeling his own body, watching himself at the mirror and feeling like a manly beast was enough for him. That was his top priority. But maybe having Brunder's posers got him more inspired to perform his own transformation to become like him.
After Brunder escaped, the director had Mike and Dennis try to chase down Brunder and recapture him, and when they failed, planned on doing it himself, revealing his own new musculature as a result of experimenting on himself with serums made from Brunder's samples. Was his work not yet finished or is there something else/more?
After all these selfish (some of them are sexy to me XD) acts made by Manning and eventually Brunder escaping, things went out of control. Manning and the rest of the team needed to take control, they can't just have a test subject out and free, right? Manning reveals his peak physique and plan to get back Brunder, here is when things get really bad, as Manning's plan on getting beast minded and go after Brunder gets really crazy as the constant abuse of drugs he used on himself made him really lose his mind on this final test and started attacking the other scientists and destroyed the whole lab. Not into details but this is basically what happens.
Hope you find these answers good and inspiring to your satisfaction. Very sorry for the huge delay, have a nice day :D

Hi, thanks so much for your answers. They were worth the wait!
So you confirmed that Manning's motivations are a lot simpler than I assumed. I guess that aside from trying to reshape his own body to be like Brunder's (obsessed with modeling himself after Brunder's figure, which I assume he considers as the ideal look), he's not into/has no feelings for the lizard at all. (though the part about him keeping Brunder's clothes, even wearing them, is quite violating in itself)
When I asked if Manning ever intended to let Brunder leave after he was finished using him, I meant to ask if Brunder would be able to go home. So if future extractions were planned, Potentia Labs would contact him and only him to ask if he could volunteer again? Like either he'd be the only one they'd talk to or he's just their go-to bodybuilder/first choice? No starting fresh with a new bodybuilder roster set?
About contracts, I was actually asking if Manning doesn't care for contracts and their legally-binding nature overall, not if he gave the contract to the rest of the bodybuilder candidates. In other words, does he not understand or take seriously what it means to make a contract? Or does he treat it as nothing more than a worthless bunch of lies or as bait to lure in and secure unsuspecting victims?
Even if Brunder wasn't on any missing-persons posters, surely he had friends and family members back where he lives who'd be curious, if not worried, after neither seeing nor hearing from him for such a long time. Even publications, advertisers, tournament sponsors, etc... Brunder got involved with, assuming he did so more than once, ought to have some reaction, if not suspicion.
So Manning's choice to chase after an escaped subject despite finally having what he dreamed of is the result of a scrambled brain. How poetic. Perhaps his plan going wrong with him going savage -his mind irreparably damaged- and destroying his lab + the rest of his hard work is the comeuppance you were referring to! (though I still think the part about "his team needing to take control and not have a test subject out and free" implies a worry that Brunder would start telling people and get Potentia Labs investigated once his beast-mindedness wore off)
While I was waiting for your answers, I ended up having a couple more questions (sorry to be so nosy ):
1.) How did Brunder keep his muscles/stay fit/maintain his figure despite being, from what I can assume, knocked out and restrained for as long as he's been locked up in the lab? After all, when he escaped, he really busted out! (from what you implied, I guess)
2.) Any ideas or clues as to how what Brunder's life in the wild was like -surviving in the woods- after his escape?
I'll admit that the whole story and Brunder's situation felt kinda hot to me: the idea of a guy being contacted by a big company, only to get lured behind their walls and locked up like a piece of meat, and the guy busting out only to play hide-and-seek in the forest while leaving behind all the other stuff he brought with him earlier.
The thought of Brunder fleeing back home without his suit, posers/briefs, and car among other things (which are likely still back at Potentia Labs) along with both himself and his life having been royally screwed over by Manning to the point he's forced to get back on track/catch up with his everyday life (aka- go back to normal) while looking over his shoulder, has a kind of arousing appeal, at least for me.
(But I still have a lingering worry that Brunder's repeated injections of the beast-minded serum, plus sedatives, during his captivity might have permanently altered, if not damaged, his brain somehow, someway...)
Again, thank you for all your answers you gave to my other questions. It made me feel a little more at ease, even gave me a bit of closure! I enjoy your work!

Well, the plan is (or was) that Manning would develop some sort of attraction to the lizard but way after some events:
They wrestle intensely in the wild, both beast minded, ending with Manning falling off a waterfall, his fate is uncertain. Brunder is lost in the dense forest, still looking for civilization, finds a hidden underground ancient temple ruins.
Manning survives and finds the now abandoned/destroyed lab. Obsessed with that lust for power, he tries to get stronger and beast minded to find the lizard by using the scarce equipment and substances in there. Several months will pass.
There are other events that will happen, like Brunder's comeback to civilization. Mike and Dennis fate. Dr. Agon's contact to Brunder after he finds civilization. The start of the secret cult and Brunder's double life as a successful businessman and cult leader. Manning finds him at the temple and challenges him. Of course there are details that need to be defined but this would be the condensed story.
When I asked if Manning ever intended to let Brunder leave after he was finished using him, I meant to ask if Brunder would be able to go home. Of course that never happened at the end but YES. If Manning played straight the whole time that's the idea: Brunder will go home and get contacted later if he wants to repeat the procedure, if he says no the lab would contact the next one on their selection list. Easy

That's another thing we'll never know. It all changed after Manning started with all these abusive decisions. Watching all those muscles flexing with raw power in such a roaring unstoppable beast really affected him

Well, for me it's like getting too much into it. As the nature of this story is based on (and therefore is going to), I don't feel the need to get into these kind of details. Let's just say that he lives alone and he has no close relatives or friends that close.

Indeed, they must take him back, specially Manning. There is no way back after what they've done, directly or indirectly.

He was nurtured during the recovery process via parenteral nutrition inside the vessel, lots of protein included. So they always kept him in peak shape and condition.
2.) Any ideas or clues as to how what Brunder's life in the wild was like -surviving in the woods- after his escape?
Well, he was beast minded most of the time so he instinctively hunted for his food. Fish and other small creatures

Yeah, let's say that this beast mind-primal rage-unstoppable raw power is like an ability he developed. It took him long time to control it as he spent too much time in the wild surviving. It's not a muscle growth ability. He's already big heheh
Again thanks a lot for your appreciation. At the moment I'm not interested in comic redo or such, sorry.

One more thing I forgot to bring up: Would you still like me to recommend some artists you could ask for a commissioned redo of your comic?
Time will tell. Life happens and can't be sure for now what will be.
