Danathius had never been to this plane of existence before; but thankfully, the city in which he now found himself seemed lively enough. An exotic array of people walked the crowded, lively streets of the hustling metropolis. Its inhabitants were comprised of a curious mixture of humans and animal people -- anthropomorphic animals, amazingly enough. The mage was curious to see what variety of trinkets and books he could find here, but before he could start, his stomach gave a protesting grumble. He had skipped breakfast, and now his belly was complaining. Looking to alleviate his pangs of hunger, the mage glanced around and finally spotted an amazing looking noodle shop just down the concrete walkway. It was a large, two-story building comprised of brick and mortar, with an open front to allow customers to sit either inside the restaurant or outside on the sidewalk. It looked fairly busy, but being by himself, it wasn't hard for Danathius to get a table for one.
The noodles, served in a fine, warm and delicious broth, were soft and bursting with flavor. One was not to eat with a fork, but two miniature, wooden stakes, dubbed chopsticks. It took some getting used to, but the mage soon managed to utilize the foreign utensils he had been given. He quickly downed his meal, and was all too happy to drink the broth from the bowl after he had consumed the meat and the noodles. His waiter brought a check to his table, and Danathius reached his hand down into his utility pouch to pull out the necessary money. Only, the Bag of Holding was empty! Blinking curiously, the human reached his hand as far as he could into the cloth bag, and was surprised when his fingers touched the bottom! That was impossible! The bag should have been endless! Perhaps his magic item didn't work properly here?
The waiter seemed to notice something was afoot, and he called two large bouncers over to the mage's table. Danathius tried desperately to explain his situation, but the bouncers only gave the poor human a mischievous grin for a reply. The waiter smiled calmly and nodded his head before speaking.
"We have a special way of dealing with folk like you."
Sighing to himself, Danathius only grumbled as he wriggled amidst the ramen noodles as he was added to the soup. He had been shrunk, turned into a mere special ingredient for a delectable soup. This kind of thing would have never happened back home...
A lovely YCH hosted by incredibleediblecalico that I was all too happy to participate in! Food play and internal shots are some of my jam, and I just had to get poor Danathius commissioned as part of someone's lunch. incredibleediblecalico does incredible (get it?), amazing work! Please check out her page and give her your love -- she deserves it! You can also view the original submission here!

Bag of Holding is a D&D magic item that connects to an interdimensional space to store a lot more items than a normal bag would. In a non magic zone, the Bag of Holding stops functioning and just becomes an ordinary bag, with none of the items its owner had placed into it. So, in the story, Danathius didn't have access to his money because the Bag of Holding wasn't working correctly!
