The pleasantly plump canine takes the wolf to see his master, who gives the wolf a simple test to see if he's got what it takes to join the dog as his next pet. As it turns out, according to his master, a good pet is a very fat and visibly prosperous pet- a clear representation of the wealth and standard of care for those under his charge. To test the wolf's worthiness, a feast to sate an trio of furs is offered to Uwais, with one simple goal - if he can eat everything in one sitting, he's as good as gold. Luckily, having lived on the streets and being deprived of a good meal for years has given the wolf's appetite just the edge he needs to gorge himself (and having a wolf's natural capacity doesn't hurt!), until he's so stuffed and round-bellied, all it takes is the dog settling down beside him for the wolf to make a pillow of his bosom, and a cushion of his belly, and slip into a well-earned food coma.

Story to follow as it's completed - work's been taking up more of my time, so the writing might be a bit slower in showing up, apologies! Pictures should continue showing up each month, that's for sure, though!

Wolf no doubt can eat a lot but can his metabolism slow down enough for him to gain weight quickly? Hopefully the dog can teach him the art of efficient movements to not waste energy on unnecessary walking and other physically demanding tasks.
Thankfully the dog will help him see the benefits of taking things easy and relaxing, especially the effect a good nap can have right after he's had a full meal, but yes, much less moving around for the wolf, and more getting used to having food brought to him when he pleases.
So what exactly does the dog and now the wolf do for their master? Are they purely for companionship or carry out a job.
They're mainly for companionship, but there will be an opportunity in the story for them to help their master with carrying out an important job. They're also meant to be shown off by their master as an example of how well his wealth and care can turn a skinny wolf off the streets big and fatter than any wolf anyone's seen.
Is this important job that the master made too much food and they need to be eaten before it goes bad?
There's no better or softer pillow than a well padded tum! I can't wait to read to accompaning story!
I like the way you have established the weight-gaining in this story, not only as a personal desire that gets fulfilled somehow, like in most wg content, but also as something that is rooted in the world and makes sense (even having a real-life aspect, as big bodies were seen as desireable status-symbol in the 15/16th century), with it being expected of the protagonist and having a direct effect on his life. Now I'm interested if we will be getting simply more glorious wish fulfillment, or if the conflict introduced in part 1 will still have an influence on the story in some way.
I'd be here for something of a 70:30 mix.
Was honestly kinda hoping for a more detailed eating scene, but I guess we'll have more of those later on, when you've got more time to write.
Though I have to say I'm jealous of that wolf tho, getting to sleep off his new, cute potbelly on what has to be the softest pillow imaginable.

No worries, I'm working on a nice, detailed eating scene for this picture, it's just that with work being busy, and real life commitments happening, writing seems to be a month behind where I'd like it to be. x3 I've got an idea for how the story will end, but for all the pictures in the middle, where the wolf's going to be catching up to the dog's weight, then gaining past it, I've still got to figure out some scenarios to write out for those, if I can. So, sort of writing as I go makes it a little trickier to get a good sense for how to pace everything, and about how long for each scene to be somewhat satisfying and not wind up too repetitive. :)
*kneads and shakes both squishy bellies* Two fat hogs living high on the hog.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter~ The first was so beautifully written, and the setting is so cozy!
