And here we go with us marrying. She was so beautiful on that day.

Happy Day
At last the day of Nicholas and Saya marrying had arrived. Both couldn’t have been more ready for this. It had been several months of preparing for it and the time had gone by so fast. The fosky was the first to wake up in the house that he and his girl had. The male was in the bed and it felt lonely without her by his side in it. Still, tonight she would rejoin him there. The male rose up and began to get ready, starting with a shower. He made sure to wash his hair as something would be done with it for this time. “It’s finally here…” the fosky said to himself, thinking just how far he had come with Saya. The guy hoped this would be a success.
Getting out of the shower, Nicholas got into some regular clothes as the church had the wedding ones waiting and he would change there. The fosky smiled as he grabbed his phone, thinking of calling Saya and see how she was doing. The male decided to do so after having something to eat. Nicholas prepared some food and sat down, checking his phone to see if any other messages had been sent for him. None had yet. When he was finished, he dialed her number. The bat answered right away. “Hey baby…” she cooed.
“Hey there love,” he said. “Just calling to see how you’re doing…”
“I am so excited for this,” Saya answered. “But now I’m happy I get to hear your voice before seeing you…”
“I feel that way to.” Just then the doorbell went off and the guy knew who it was as they had talked about them coming over. “Looks like my family has arrived. I need to go baby.”
“I know. I was just about to hope into the shower anyways.”
“I’ll see you soon at the altar, okay?”
“Okay; love you…”
“I love you to.” He hung up and went to answer the front door to find his parents and younger brother there. The sibling named Lucas looked more like their father. It was their mother named Linden who had a happy smile and hugged her eldest son.
“Hey guys,” he said, bringing them all in to join the hug.
“Ooooh I’m so happy for this already,” the vixen stated. “And I feel that way for you and her.”
“I feel that way to son,” the father husky named Vincent agreed. He then looked at the house, having never been here. “And you two live in a nice home.”
“This is really cool and nice,” said Lucas.
“Thanks guys,” Nicholas replied.
There wasn’t much left to do then and head to the church. Meanwhile Saya, after hanging up went into the shower. She let the hot water run all over her hair and body. “Mmmmm so good,” she cooed, feeling how nice it was. She began to get clean, especially her long hair which would be styled for this day. As the bat was taking her shower, her thoughts went to Nicholas and the fact they were getting married. Saya felt she could never thank the guy enough that had changed her life and loved her so deeply like she loved him the same. The male was everything she needed; a guy to make her feel safe and warm, loved, and to take care of her. On top of that, the fosky had shown her the impossible, done so much for her, and was kind, brave, strong, and handsome. Then there was the fact of how much they were able to connect and how out of the times of making love, Nicholas was truly the best, treating her even then gently and with kindness and love. Saya figured all she could do was love him back as much as possible, showing him time and again how grateful and thankful she was to him. Saya’s thoughts were interrupted when there was a knock on the door. “Are you in there Saya?” asked Izzy. “I just wanted to make sure you were up.”
The bat turned off the water. “Yeah, I’ll be out in a bit.”
“Good, we don’t want to be late,” the canine said in a teasing voice. The first female turned off the water and began to dry herself off.
The two ladies made it to the dining room where Elaine was already there and making breakfast. “Ooooh, there she is,” the mother bat cooed, eyes tearing up.
“Jeez, it’s not the wedding and you’re already crying,” Izzy commented with a grin.
“I’m sorry, it’s just my Saya is getting married to such a great guy…”
“I know he is,” the younger bat replied. “He’s just perfect.”
“We’re all really happy for you,” Izzy told her best friend. “This is going to go great.”
After breakfast, it was off to the church to get ready. By this point it was about 10:30 and lined up so hopefully by the time the reception would start it would be about lunch time. Then that would go until the evening when the event would be over. It was decorated for the event and ready for the special moment when Nicholas and Saya would become husband and wife. The guests had all begun to arrive and were talking amongst themselves. In two separate rooms, the bride and groom were getting ready. Nicholas first had his hair worked on before putting the suit on. He was just finishing the touches when his family and a couple of co-workers came in. “Oh you’re so handsome dear,” Linden stated, blinking back her tears.
“Thanks mom,” the fosky replied. He then smiled. “I want to thank you guys here first for helping me and Saya arrange this day for us.”
“She’s going to love it,” Vincent said.
“Well, here we go,” Nicholas commented and they waked out of the room.
Elsewhere, Saya was in a chair having her hair and makeup done. Izzy was in here as well and the two talked while the work was done on the bat. “How are you feeling?” the canine asked.
“You know, I’m a little nervous but mostly excited,” the bat replied. “To be marrying Nicholas…”
“I understand.”
Saya was then stood up so the dress could be put on her. The finishing touches were done just as Elaine, Mr. Lance, and his wife came in, The mother bat just gasped and let out a squeal. “Oh Saya!” she exclaimed. “Oh honey, you’re so beautiful!”
The younger female bat looked in the mirror and saw what her mother meant. Mr. and Mrs. Lance smiled at her. “I can’t help but feel happy for both of you,” said his wife.
“I feel the same,” her husband stated and presented the flowers for Saya.
“It’s really time…” the bat whispered and took them before taking Mr. Lance’s arm.
Down at the area where the vows would happen, the church looked beautiful. The flowers that were out and the candles that had been lit added to the mood. Everybody here were in their positions and ready for this. Nicholas stood at the altar with the pastor who would do the vows. The fosky just took slow breaths down while waiting patiently. This was one of the moments he’d been waiting for so long and now it was finally here. And then they heard the music which meant she was coming. They all turned to the doors as they opened to reveal Saya being lead down the aisle by Mr. Lance. She looked up as the guests all gasped at her beauty. Meanwhile the little bat blushed, groaning on the inside; did she really have to be a blushing bride? But then her eyes saw the decorations that she and Nicholas had picked out before finding him standing at the altar. He saw her as well slowly coming up. The fosky’s suit was black with a tie that went well with his eyes. His hair had been braided for this and his glasses shown. Seeing him in that made Saya smile at him as she thought he was so handsome, the most he’d ever been. The bat’s dress was strapless and snow white. Her long purple hair had been brushed until it shown and curled while hanging loose. The veil on her head went to the back of her neck in length and her necklace that Nicholas had given the female all those years ago shown. In her hands, the flowers were pink to match the color of Saya’s eyes. And Nicholas couldn’t help but think she was so beautiful in this moment.
At last Saya and Mr. Lance reached the altar and she hugged him. “Thank you…” the bat whispered. “Thank you so much…”
“It was an honor,” he said softly hugging her back. His placed her hands into Nicholas’s paws and then joined his wife in the front row.
The two at the altar smiled at the other, this had to be one of the happiest days of their lives. The pastor then began to speak, saying words of encouragement and love to the two. Then the time came with Nicholas and Saya facing the other. They slid the rings onto the other’s ring finger and he held her hands in his paws. “Do you, Nicholas Anthony Greyson, take Saya Amanda Alkerst, to be your lawfully wedded wife; in sickness and health, now and forever?” the pastor asked.
“I do,” the fosky replied.
“And do you, Saya Amanda Alkerst, take Nicholas Anthony Greyson, to be you lawfully wedded husband; in sickness and healthy, now and forever?”
She teared up but was able to say the words. “I do…”
“Then with my power, I’m please to say that this couple is now husband and wife.” Saya moved and threw her arms around Nicholas as they kissed. The audience applauded and cheered for them.
The two pulled back and pecked the other on the lips before their foreheads came together. They were grinning from ear to ear. “I love you…” Saya whispered to her new husband.
“And I love you…” Nicholas said softly to his new wife.
The two turned to face their friends and family. This whole time pictures were being taken and another person was rolling film for the video. Now there was more as some photos were taken in the altar of the two newly-weds and then with their families. But after a bit, it was time to head to the reception. Nicholas swept Saya off her feet who squealed and held onto him. They made it outside where a limo was waiting. The guy set his wife on her feet and opened the door. She got in first with him right behind her. As soon as the door was closed, she hugged her husband hard. “It’s actually happened; we’re married!” she cried. “I’m so happy!”
“I feel the same way babe,” he told his wife and kissed her forehead. “You look so beautiful Saya, the most I’ve seen you…”
She kissed him and then pulled back. “Oh honey…” the bat cooed. “You really think so?”
“I know so…”
The female hugged him. “You’re so handsome to babe…”
The limo drove to the hotel and Nicholas got out, holding Saya’s hand this time, their wedding rings glistening in the sun. The other guests in their cars were right behind them and went inside. Here the newly-weds went to a small room to wait. During the whole time Saya wouldn’t let Nicholas go. “I just want to be close to you like this…” the bat whispered when asked why. “I never want to lose this feeling I have now…”
Then a runner came in to tell them the room was ready. The couple walked and their names were announced. They entered to find their friends, family, and co-workers all here. The room was beautiful with the tables set up and the candles lit. The place was a mix of white with pink and gold. There was some light purple in here. Nicholas and Saya had chosen these colors because the white was for her dress, purple and pink because of her natural color, and gold because to her Nicholas shown like that and more. They smiled as they saw the rest applauded. The fosky and bat looked at the other with smiles and she held up the flowers. Turning around Saya threw them and they landed into Izzy’s paws. The canine sniffed them before turning to her left to see a very handsome coyote who also met her eyes. Nicholas then went under his wife’s dress to remove the garter. With a wink at her he shot it towards his brother. The two were then lead to the seats of honor. After sitting, people came up to not only congratulate them but some even had gifts. Elaine and Linden were first. “Oooooh I’m so happy for you two,” the mother bat cried, teary eyed as she hugged the two. The vixen also did and said the same thing.
Next came the others in Saya’s family who also gave their congratulations before the rest of Nicholas’s family stepped forward to wish them well. Then came the friends of Saya with Izzy in front. The co-workers were with them to. “Congrats Saya!” the canine said as their hands and paws came together and they shared a laugh.
“Yes, they are in order,” Mr. Lance said who shook paws with Nicholas and Saya.
“And thank you for doing all this for us,” the fosky replied. His wife smiled up at her boss and blinked back tears.
“Yes, all of this…” Saya couldn’t say anymore but it was enough. Her husband hugged her and she kissed him on the cheek.
Then the food was ready and served up. Everyone got what they wanted but before it was consumed Nicholas was handed a mike to make a speech. Everyone looked to him and Saya did as well with love in her eyes. “Thank you, so much all of you, for coming today and for helping us make this possible,” the fosky said. “This couldn’t have gone any better. From the bottom of me, and Saya who I can with happiness call my wife hearts, to be here on our special day. And really this is all about her…” The guy looked to the bat who smiled and grabbed his free paw with her hands.
“I remember the day well I first saw here. It was literally bumping into her with both of us not paying attention. I then saw Saya and to my eyes I saw that she was so cute and adorable, beautiful even. As we talked and got to know the other, I came to realize she was someone special. Saya was uncertain but I saw her transform and become the person she is today. She has come so far and I love her for that and I’m so proud of her. There were times Saya was uncertain but I showed her with my love and with patience that all she had to do was trust herself and me. Since the day we started dating, I have done to make her happy. Even now being married I still plan to do so…” Here Nicholas turned to look at Saya who had tears in her eyes.
“Saya my wife, my love, you’re everything I could ask for. Remember no matter what happens, no matter what problems or worries you may have, I will always be there for you and listen. I will always love you, for you light up my world, the one person I can’t be without. I love you…”
The bat just let her tears of happiness fall as she stood up and found her husband’s lips, kissing him as the audience applauded. They pulled back. He then handed her the mike to speak and Saya blushed. “Oh god… I didn’t prepare for this…” she whispered and the fosky smiled.
“Just say how you feel babe…”
Saya looked to him and was encouraged. “I never thought something like this would happen,” she began. “Love found me when I wasn’t looking for it and it ran into me. I looked up and saw the male who would be my husband today.”
The bat looked to the audience. “Since I met Nicholas, he’s done so much for me. I feel he has more for me than I have for him. He’s changed me for the better, making every day with him be like magic. He not only gave me love, but also helped me get my life going to how I want to be. Traveling with him all over the world for the place I work and loving me no matter what…” Saya then turned to look at Nicholas. “Nicholas, I love how I can now call you my husband, you shine like gold and more to me. You make me feel safe and warm and give me those things to. To wake up next to you is how I love starting my day, to see your face when my eyes open. And now I can do so knowing I have you by my side and married. I love you so much…”
The two kissed again and now it was time to eat. The food was delicious and Nicholas and Saya fed the other bites at points while they and the others talked. Then it came time to cut the wedding cake. Titled Sweet Lady Jane, it was a beautiful one with many layers and a triple berry one. Nicholas knew the bat would love it for the fruit. The cameras flashed as the cake was cute and the two fed the other the slices. But then it came time to dance. Saya still felt nervous but only a little as she knew Nicholas would do the work like he had during the first trip to Vegas. He led her out to the floor. “Saya I feel this is the song that fits us well,” he said.
The song Lifetime Love began to play (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huP64loXMSk ). The bat felt it did so well with her and gasped as she recognized it when it had played at Vegas. She kissed her husband on the cheek as they began to sway back and forth with the lyrics playing,
I can see it in your eyes and feel it in your touch
I know that you're scared, but you've never been this loved
Everyone watched the first dance with smiles.
It's a long shot, baby, I know it's true
But if anyone can make it, I'm betting on me and you
The smile on his face was filled with love as he looked to his wife like she did with her husband.
Just keep on moving in to me
I know you're going to see
The best is yet to come
Don't fear it now; we're going all the way
That sun is shining on a brand new day
It's a long way down, and it's a leap of faith
But I'm never giving up 'cause I know we got a once in a lifetime love
Saya and Nicholas met in a kiss again and he was smiling like he was singing this to her.
Everybody's looking for what we've found
Some wait their whole lives and it never comes around
The bat once again with that felt so blessed to have the fosky.
So don't hold back now
Just let go of all you've ever known
You can put your hand in mine
Don't fear it now; we're going all the way
That sun is shining on a brand new day
It's a long way down, and it's a leap of faith
But I'm never giving up 'cause I know we got a once in a lifetime love
The music became a little slower as Nicholas's grip on Saya became more loving than it already was.
I close my eyes, and I see you standing right there
Saying 'I do, ' and they're throwing rice in our hair
Well the first one's born; then a brother comes along, and he's got your smile
I'll be looking back at the life we had still by your side
So don't fear it now, we're going all the way
That sun is shining on a brand new day
It's a long way down, and it's a leap of faith
But I'm never giving up 'cause I know we got a once in a lifetime love
Lifetime love…
The song came to an end and the wedded couple kissed again and the audience applauded for them. More music came on which meant dancing for everyone. Nicholas went with his mother and Saya dance with Mr. Lance next. When that song was over, the two were reunited. “Is this what you were hoping for my darling?” the fosky asked her.
“Yes,” she whispered. “All of it and more babe. This has been such a beautiful day for us…”
Saya then looked and saw her friend Izzy dancing with the coyote who she had locked eyes with. Nicholas saw this to and both smiled. “Maybe not just for us,” he said. “Perhaps something new for your friend there.” Saya smiled as by this point she believed that love could work in mysterious ways. Finally this celebration came to an end with it being the evening. After such a day, Nicholas and Saya would just head back to their home for the night. Tomorrow they would leave for their honeymoon. And this would lead to one of the greatest moments and in one instance worry for the newly-weds in their new lives together.
