9" x 11.5" color pencil
I sketched and started coloring this piece at MFF in 2013 then it got set aside till now. Cropped the upper background which I hated, then finished it up, although now I see a couple thing I want to touch up so it should look a bit better in a bit.
This image is from a photo but is pretty true to color.
There was a story started to go with this piece but don't know where it went. It's kind of a transformation thing. She was a beloved human queen once but during a coup, a terrible magic was unleashed to kill her human bodyguards as well as her beloved leopard companions. It slowly dessolved them as if doused by acid but the queen rushed to aid and comfort the female of the leopard pair and subsequently was affected by the magic also. The wielder of the dragon gem in which the magic emanated, in a panic, commanded the jewel to heal the queen but she and the leopard had already begun to dessolve alive. While still embracing the leopard, the magic hit once more and blindly did what was commanded but recognizing the two as one, it reformed both back into a single form using all that they were before, mind, body, and soul. She was then exiled to a small island and chained by magic. The people of her realm thought her dead, but she existed there awaiting rescue.

Thanks! I just reread the story and noticed I forgot one s in dissolved and spellcheck changed that to "resolved" which would make it a bit confusing. fixed it now. This was just a condensed version of the transformation scene in the original story.
Dear heavens above, I can't resist to say that I just love the felines you draw, with such a beautiful story.

Felines are my favorite subject of course and there will be a lot more felines forthcoming now that I am near the end of my commission queue. But for my watchers sake, I will try and slip in a variety of animal types. Gonna do another feline though next after I finish the commission I am currently working on which is another anthro tigress and her feral tiger companion. Then I am doing a Siamese Cat. :)
Just curious, what would like to see me draw?

That's cool, it wasn't' an issue to me as I've must've overlooked it anyway lol. And oooh, I can't wait to see that :^). I wish I could commission you, but I've already spent enough on another artist. Plus I'm saving up for a vacation soon lol.
Awesome, for me I have a huge heart for felines (more specifically big felines, like Lions, Tigers, Cheetahs, Leopards, and etc), and if art is drawn perfectly, like yours for example, I can't help but take a look :^).
And, hmm... this maybe a bit cliched or overdone, which I'm not for sure if you've done it before. But would be interesting if you drawn certain animal canon characters in your style? Like for example, you could do a character or two from The Lion King, Bambi, Balto, Bolt, 101 Dalmatians, or/and other movies/TV shows that's centered around animal characters or has a animal character somewhere (if that makes sense? lol)
Like you could do either a picture of one character or a pair. For example in The Lion King, you can do Simba looking over the land that he rules over, or standing with his beloved queen Nala in your style. With pairing, you can either do canon couples ( Ex: Bambi and Faline), best friends (Ex: Timon and Pumbaa or a young Simba and Nala), or have a bit of fun with non-canon couples. Non-canon couples like Kion and Fuli from The Lion Guard, or any other paring you may find fun to draw together in many different scenarios. :^)
And can draw them however you want, either anthro or feral, with each having your own short story of what's going on. Of course, you can choose whether or not to do this, just a suggestion x^3.

Congrats to the winner - what a beautiful piece. Hmm, if I think about it, then I should have bid. Congrats, though.
there are story, violet sea, nice figure of the leopardess and endless spots. All together make it precious piece of furry art.
Hey man, not much to say, but your art is outstanding and beautiful, even above the traditional furry associations, it stands on its own.
