Hello lovelies. For those following along our work for The Leopard Sun on Patreon, this will be an oldie. I have found a hard time keeping up with uploads on so many different websites when..instead I could just be making moar art =D! That said, I often find myself missing everyone here on FA. Of the gallery websites left out there, FA is still one of my favorites. you guys are some of the most supportive encouraging folks out there, thank you!

About this piece:
This piece started with the intent of possibly becoming a cover for a short spin-off comic titled Twilight & Shadow, the storyboards of which you may have seen in past Sketch Mondays.

In the short comic, the lioness Ilanga endures a recurring dream in which she wakes to a surreal landscape, over which a fluid Sun hangs. Tracing the liquid embers with her eyes, Ilanga spots her best friend floating motionlessly in the sky, slowly drifting into the Sun.

Ilanga calls out to her, but finds her voice muffled, as if underwater. And so she leaps toward Iphiko, like an arrow shot into the Sun, sacrificing herself to shield her friend from the Sun's flames...
