Why? Why'd he pick THIS way home, the Espeon thought. All around him were nothing but dead trees, backlit by an unsettling yellow moo,, giving off ominous shapes that always seemed to move and morph out of the corner of his eye. The moment he suspected one of the was moving, he would quickly glanced at it in shock, only to find that it wasn't moving at all. Despite knowing the trees weren't moving, though, this didn't leave him feeling any more reassured. He was almost certain he was being watched and/or followed.
The fact that it was getting chilly all of a sudden wasn't helping matters. He was already feeling chills down his spine. He didn't need more of this in a literal sense as well.
He came to a stop between two trees that seemed bigger than the rest. He took out his GPS, keen to find out exactly where he was so that he could find the nearest road that would take him as far away from these woods as possible. Suddenly, he froze, again, feeling as though he had seen something move out of the corner of his eye. Again, nothing was there. None of the trees were moving... but the shadow of one of them appeared to be wiggling. Staring directly at this, he didn't move a muscle... though he probably should've...
WHUMP!
The two trees he had been standing beneath suddenly came together from both directions, firmly smothering them against their oddly soft, cloth-like surfaces. He was bemused, until he heard laughter begin to fill his ears, two distinct laughs in fact: one a sinister, prankster-like cackle, and the other a soft, teasing chuckle.
"Heh... look what we caught, Fern!" said the cackling voice. "A nice little SQUISH toy!"
"Indeed," replied the teasing voice. "And how ingenious of you to lure him into our little trap with your mastery of shadow manipulation, Kass. Truly excellent~"
"Aw, you flatter me~ ... And we FLATTEN him! Heh heh heh!"
"Yes, we've trapped him quite nicely, haven't we? So much more practical than a Mean Look or a Spirit Shackle, 'ey?"
The two giants pressed against the Espeon, fully preventing him from being able to move. All he could do was eye his captors: a Gengar, glaring down at him with a toothy smile as unnerving has her species usually was, and a Decidueye, giving him a rather sly smirk. The two continued to press him again and again, like ham in a sandwich, a patty between two buns, a squishy marshmallow between two cookies within a smore.
"Hey! Hey Fern!" the Gengar said. "Ever heard of "things that go BUMP in the night?"
"Why yes, I believe I have," the Decidueye replied.
"Well, WE'RE things that go WHUMP in the night!"
"... You are so bad..." the Decidueye sighed, shaking her head, but not without a little chuckle, while the Gengar cackled loudly, quite clearly proud of her joke.
The Espeon, meanwhile, could only hang there in agony, as he was tormented by nonstop crushing, aching bones, and bad puns, by these two huge Ghost girls.
Oh the horror...

Welcome back to Crush Chronicles. Today, it's Kass and Fern getting some spotlight after a long time. Figured it would be fitting to have these two Ghosts for a Halloween special.
Also used this as an opportunity for two things: 1) Trying out more lighting effects, and 2) updating Fern a little. She now has a visor instead of a full hat to accommodate for her feather. Also, yes, she has a Z-ring with a Deciduium Z.
Enjoy, and Happy Halloween everybody!
