another DnD session event. this one was something that should not have happened. party was chatting bout getting into town with necromancer causing trouble with army of undead and randomly got idea to try getting the necromancer (we later found was a lvl 9 while we were all lvl 2s) into an empty bag of holding. So while party made a distraction, the rogue snuck up the wall and onto a tower over looking the necromancer and his guards. He then proceeded to swan dive off this tower with this bag of holding and he rolled okay but.....the necromancer rolled a 1, with a modifier of -1 so actually rolled a 0, so into the bag he went. which caused his undead in the city to drop. rest of the party took care of his human armored guards by making them slip off a 40 foot wall with the mage's grease spell and beat them up till surrender. the entire group was laughing and going on how this plan that in no way SHOULD have worked someone got pulled off.

A good GM is always prepared no matter what crazy things the players get into their heads to do. Which generally means being good at winging it.
how much exp do you get from that? Does this also mean you have a Necromancer in a bag you can just pull out whenever you need someone who can control zombies?
we got bunch for the guards, but we're taking the necromancer back to our kingdom for a reward still. he's just currently in the bag, with 10 minutes of air
