Back with me and Meika in the next true chapter, I want to make it clear I'm not hurting her. She's just very worried about me and why that is is told in this chapter. Some good news is that I've done some calculations. At the rate I'm going, by early January 2020, I'll finally be at the point where Season 2, episode 21 ends. As of now we don't know if the rest of season 2 will ever come out despite apparently they have been released or shown somehow.
On another note now I'm feeling very conflicted and confused from things I've heard. That doesn't meant I'm going to stop but don't ask me what those things are. I still feel that there are some who are just going to laugh in a mean way behind my back because of my work. And I'm having a hard time still knowing who really supports me. All I can do is keep going with me and Meika.

The next day the interview did happen. It was like that with the Q&A but only Tag, Nicholas, and Victor were a part of it. Meika did watch them and she smiled when seeing the husky up on the stage, happy that he had gotten through this. Due to how busy the male with glasses was, the vixen had to spend time with Mia. That was fine as Meika and the panda were really good friends by this point and another the vixen felt she could tell anything. It was the same for Mia and the two would often talk what they liked in the male they had romantic feelings for and other things. But Mia was the only person Meika talked to about this. But besides the panda, the vixen did talk with Ashley but more about general things. They were becoming friends to. However, not all was peaceful in a sense. For as the Ark began to head towards where the next race was taking place, some of the racers on the side of good were receiving death threats from an outside source on forms of media. It was telling them to pull out of this tournament before the Ark landed at the next place or face the wrath of being killed. The third race would be held at a place called Spikelooth. Although this city did have attractions like say Aispir, the truth was this place didn’t really have true law enforcement. The ones who really held the power were the criminals here. Pretty much the police here were corrupt and were paid to look the other way at times.
As for the death threats, none of those who were receiving them, the ones being Nicholas, Cody, Jacob, Daniel, and Sig, could even figure out why these were being sent. It wasn’t just them, Tamira got one to along with Jessica. But the mentioned males were getting them the most. What they didn’t realize was that it was Lezo’s men doing it under his orders to try to intimidate them. The pantheress wasn’t scared at all having faced death and hell right in the face due to her past. But the rest met up on this in the husky’s room. “What do we do?” the primate asked. “These are coming in frequently.”
“When we land be very careful with going out,” Nicholas answered. “And don’t do it at night. Who knows what the hell is here that is trying to discourage us.”
Soon the Ark landed at Spikelooth. The racers here learned that the next race would be held over two sections that together were called the Liquid Frontier Loop. This was due to traveling through part of the city and even the loading docks where ships brought in their cargo for the city. Everyone made sure to study up on this track as it was new and there was no telling what would happen on it. In the meantime, they were encouraged if they wanted to step off the Ark and look around the city, they could. However, nobody went there alone but in groups due to how dangerous the place could be. And that’s what Cody discovered one night a few days before the race. And it was also where some saw firsthand how dangerous this game against the enemy was going to get. The male otter was at one of the bars and telling a story of him and Nicholas racing in the past and there was a fish tank behind him. Now while Cody was smart enough to keep his mouth shut about personally things, when it came to telling glorious wins from the past, the guy did tend to ramble on with elaborate detail. And the wrong person could get very annoyed. But what the otter had no idea was that the ones he were telling were some of Lezo’s henchmen. The male had just reached the part in the story of a very tricky part during that race where he and Nicholas had been in a rough spot and could have been hurt. “My, my,” went a familiar voice.
Cody looked up to see it was Razor and with him where the three that had left this racing season. They came to a stop in front of the main bar, leaning against some tables nearby. The feline’s tone took on a mocking one. “Sounds like that course is terribly dangerous like my home city here.” The guy lit up one of his cigarette and took a puff of it. “Maybe we should get the law enforcement to crack down here.”
All of the males who worked for Lezo chuckled with him like it was a sick joke. Cody realized now he might be in trouble now. “Yeah, we this place don’t scare us!” the otter stated. “No death threats or anyone else is going to run us out!” That spoke out to Razor; it seemed Lezo’s plan of trying to intimidate Nicholas and the rest had failed. It had been worth a try at least.
“Well now sounds like you and that husky were in a tight spot,” the feline said now serious again. “How did you survive?”
Meanwhile while all this was going on, Nicholas, Sig, Tameria, and Jacob were out trying to find Cody. “See him yet?” the gorilla asked into his phone that was operating hands free. He had the contact information of most of the others.
“Not yet,” the avian answered back.
“I think…” Nicholas began but then noticed some cars coming towards him. It was to be noted these racers were all using their racing cars which was allowed. The canine saw the species driving towards him wore makes so it was impossible to tell what their faces looked like. But Nicholas saw their guns. The husky jumped into the Lighting Blizzard and gunned it.
“Get moving to my position, I’m being attacked!” he stated with a snarl. The bullets began to fly.
“On our way!” Sig exclaimed.
A wild chase then began. Nicholas managed to go into a tunnel that had pillars. One of the ones following him hit these and ended up crashing. The Lighting Blizzard burst out of the tunnel with enemies behind and guns firing. Then Jacob came out of nowhere, cutting two of the opposing cars off. “Come on!” the avian shouted at them and took off. They went after the rook, firing at him.
Tamira was waiting for them and drove in. “Let’s see how you handle the roads,” she stated and weaved in and out of them. It was so distorting that the two cars crashed. She and Jacob drove away.
Meanwhile Sig was heading towards Nicholas’s position. The male gorilla then saw them and managed to get alongside one of the ones in the back. The male rammed his car into a enemy one, causing it to spin out of control and crash to. A couple of the remaining ones fell back to deal with Sig. Nicholas used that opportunity to do a hard right. The one following behind him had their car go straight clear into the water since they were near where the next race would take place. Sig in the meantime managed to move and caused one of those chasing him to crash. That left two more that the gorilla had to deal with which the guy took care of easily by having them ram into the other. Nicholas also managed to shake off the last of those pursing him. Then a call came in. “Cody’s at this location!” came Jacob’s voice. “Kira told me!”
Nicholas was off like a shot. Back at the bar, the otter had finished his part of the tale. But Razor and his boys had heard enough. “Really?” the feline stated and walked forward to Cody. “You know, people in this town have a way of getting in over their heads.” Razor then growled the next part as a threat. “Like at the bottom of the ocean!”
Lezo’s men including the three who had been force out of the tournament cracked their knuckled and some even drew knives. Cody realized he was in deep shit. “And we’ll start with you as our way of paying Nicholas back for kicking me out!” the lupine who hated the husky the most growled.
“Eh.. easy boys,” the otter gulped, realizing he had no way out. “My story’s almost over!”
“Yes it is!” Razor agreed, whipping out a butterfly knife. They all then said the headlights of the Lighting Blizzard heading towards them through the glass of the fish tank.
They all got out of the way but Cody who didn’t see Nicholas was coming. “Wait a minute it gets better!” the otter stated. “Really!”
He then heard the nose and turned around. The guy ducked just in time as Nicholas came flying into the bar through the tank since it was a huge one that made up part of the bar’s walls. Nobody would really care as there was no law enforcement here. And nobody was dumb enough to try to report this incident which meant he could get away with something like this one time. The Lighting Blizzard came to a stop sideways and the husky glared at his friend who rose up in shock over this turn of events. “Get in the car Cody!” the canine snarled.
“Nicholas?! Are you crazy!?” the otter exclaimed. “You ruined my story!”
The husky looked and saw Razor, the three who were out of the tournament, and others were recovering. “NOW!” he stated.
Razor and the lupine that hate the husky the most threw their knives and just missed hitting Cody who ran for it to the Lighting Blizzard. “Step on it!” the otter yelled after quickly squeezing in. Nicholas took off out of the bar.
“I warned you and the others about going out at night!” the husky exclaimed. “We’re getting death threats! Someone doesn’t want us here or to even race!”
“Ya think?!” the otter replied. “I say we take the next ride out of here!”
“Not a chance! Hang on!”
They all made it back to the Ark. Luckily the damaged to the cars was easy to fix as they could take some hits like that. Cody swore he would never go out like that again as the need to hit that bar had dragged him in as long as they didn’t tell his girlfriend what had happened. The others agreed and the two otters were in a heated frenzy later in their room even if she wasn’t sure of the reason why but went with it. However Meika would catch up to Nicholas and saw that his fur was ruffled up due to that little adventure. “Nicholas, are you okay?” she asked him. “What happened?”
The guy hesitated for a second then came clean. “Here, let’s get to my room,” he told her. “It’ll be better.”
They went inside. She noticed the main colors were green and purple. There were even a couple of fake palm trees in here to add some plant life. The female noticed the T.V., couch, video games, and other things were set up. One other area led to the bedroom with the huge bed and large shower, big enough for two. The final area was more of a meeting place with a laptop on a table and a few chairs. “Why are we here?’ the vixen asked.
“So nobody we don’t want to hear listens in,” Nicholas answered after he closed the door. “There’s just been too much going on to risk our lives.”
“Wha… what are you talking about?” The female began to worry that the husky might mean Pike.
Nicholas then came clean with the death threats and Meika got a really worried look. “Nicholas…” she whispered and hugged him.
“Hey, we shook them off,” the husky told her and they pulled back with his paws on her arms, hers on his chest. “I promise I can take care of myself. You’ve seen me in combat and on the track. I promise, I’m not going anywhere.”
“But… who’s sending them?” Meika asked, almost looking like she was going to cry.
“We don’t know. And without any proof we can’t say who it is. I have some ideas but we’re just going to have to race and win to make them stop.” The husky gave her a reassuring smile and hugged her again. “I’ll be fine Meika. I promise. Now then you should get some rest if you can. The race will be here soon and you’ll need it for it. We’ll talk some more.”
“Okay… I…” Here the vixen faltered and couldn’t say it how she felt about him. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Nicholas watched her leave and the vixen was quickly in her room since it was not far from the husky’s. As soon as the door was closed, Meika’s paws went to her heart, clutching that area. “Please… I hope you don’t die… I love you…” she whispered.
The husky did find Razor though in the lounge when nobody else was around with Cody the day before the race. “Next time you and your thugs wanna fight, maybe you should do it with someone who can win that fight,” Nicholas snarled at the feline.
Razor turned around to face the canine. “My, my, I finally get to meet the great racer, Nicholas!” the feline stated in a bit of a mocking tone.
“And?!” Cody stated.
“And what?” Razor snapped.
“What about me?!”
“Oh yes. You’re the loud mouth story teller from the bar.” The feline began to walk around Nicholas who growled slightly. “But Nicholas, Nick, Nick, Nick; you’re reputation proceeds you.” They were now face to face again, the mocking tone back. “Oh, but I’m forgetting my manners.” His tone got serious again. “My name is Razor. Maybe you’ve heard of me before now? I work for Lezo.” He took a puff on the cigarette substitute that didn’t produce smoke as the Ark didn’t allow smoking. “Eventually everyone does.”
“I’m from out of town,” the husky replied angrily.
“Yes, you are,” the feline said in that mocking tone again. “And you showed three of my boys in the first race and then those other rookies the next.” The guy then pointed a finger in anger at Nicholas since Razor was done playing nice. “Don’t make me put on my helmet right here and show you how it’s done! You wouldn’t live long enough to see my cross the finish line!”
“I’m fucking ready to go whenever you are!” Nicholas snarled. The name Lezo did stick in his mind though. The husky was going to look into this more. The reason Razor said the name was because he felt the canine posed no threat to his boss, the Ringmasters, or High Command’s plans.
“Oh I’m sure will match up in that soon enough,” Razor said in that mocking tone again. “The race of the century eh?” He then took a second to roll his eyes but then got serious again. “In the meantime, watch your back! I heard someone arranged a few surprises this time!” The feline then walked away, chuckling with an evil grin. Nicholas then did try to look up the name Lezo, but nothing came up at all. What nobody knew was that crime boss had erased his name from the data banks so there was no trace. But if the feline mentioned that person it was worth remembering it. But for now, it was time for the next race. And there would be more than one surprise for sure.
