In my last semester at CSULB in 2016, I took an animation class called Experimental Animation. For my final project, I did a paper cut out animation featuring my characters. This is the second scene where the camera pans down. In the animation, I have people (anthros included) walking down the streets. The cathedral in the back is the Santa Maria del Fiore. Notice the facade doesn't have the decorative gothic style. My story takes place in 1600 A.D. so I wanted to give some accuracy as the neo gothic exterior wouldn't have been built until the 19th century. I looked at some vintage photographs to get a better idea of what it would've looked like then.
