Following the conclusion of the Animalympic Games, the world has had many mixed feelings regarding the two-way tie upset of the marathon event. It seems every news station along with many athletic groups and unions were set ablaze with heated debate regarding the integrity of the Games. Eventually, after countless days, the storm of incredulous anger and outrage has subsided and a new craze has swept in from the games. The mass interest has now shifted to another story about overcoming obstacles; A daring tale of bitter rivals of world-wide proportions.
The hybrid coverage of the Animalympic sporting events along with our in-depth, individualized athlete interviews, brought to you by ZOO, has transformed the public opinion. It has shown that the animal kingdom viewers have DRASTICALLY preferred such segments as the "Zoo-m- on you" and post/pre game interviews
Naturally, in the following years, ZOO and other News networks have taken the opportunity to capitalize on the newly forged fascination. TV viewers were chomping at the bit to hear more about the notable and exemplary creatures with more than a few captivating stories to tell.
Many of the reporting cast of these networks have had more work than they know what to do with. Competition on cable broadcast was quickly growing, causing certain TV personalities to rely upon new gimmicks to sell their coverage. One reporter specifically has gained quite a audience, following her coverage of several Animalympic events.
Brenda Springer, In order to both expand and seal her spot within the press industry, has gone on to star in her own televised special. "Sun-up with Brenda." Set to air bi-weekly and including lengthy reports of international events....and (more importantly) guest staring the new group of celebrity athletes... The show would consist of the daily rituals most denizens of the animal kingdom spend in their first waking hours of the day. Brenda, herself, will dress up appropriately in her pajamas to emotionally connect with the show's viewers. Any and all guests or fellow reporters and speakers are encouraged (but not required) to do the same.
One of the show's most highly rated and viewed episodes featured "The Contessa" whom had scored a rather exceptional victory against Count Boar-Deaux during the Animalympic's Fencing event. Contessa has gone on to duel many opponents, swiftly and deftly defeating them all without much opposition.
Much like many of the other female gold medalists, Contessa has become a role-model and quite the celebrity among the animal kingdom, and has even been christened "Miss Saber" as a secondary title.

So yeah, much like the rest of the internet, I was really shocked to find I completely missed this movie until the reviews started being posted. Real shame since Brenda's such a great design, so I havn't much opportunities to draw her. Also, really love Contessa with both that confidant smile and accent <3 Unfortunately this is what happens the very second I discover these kinds of things. I wanted this piece to look like a still shot of an actual TV talk show from the 70/80's. Tried to use iconic type and styling of the shows themselves, even trying to add just a hint of TV pixel noise. This may be a fun platform as a series, but we'll see if I'm up to it.

Well, this looks utterly incredible. as for the attempt to make the image look like a tak show. Honestly Ithink you nailed it, everything from te relaxed posesand bot women wearing anught mroe than a bathrobe, to the text on the "bottom of the screen" looks accurate for these kinds of talk shows. Can't see a singlehair out of place or shadow not enhancing either woman's beauty.
Absolutely incredible. Glad you finally got this finished and posted. :)
