Joel is a classic victim of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Obsessive thoughts of cleanliness began to visit him as a child; his father was cutting carcasses and the smell of rotten meat and caked blood was so annoying that Joel couldn`t stand it and at the end of the working day obligingly put things in order at the butcher's workplace - wiped the blood, cleaned up the remains of the meat, and did a full general cleaning.
He liked the feeling of satisfaction from cleanliness.

Over time, obsessive thoughts intensified a hundredfold and Joel began to dislike other creatures - they seemed dirty, disgusting to him. Physically and mentally. Even the lousy curse from the dirty mouth of a stranger made Siitonen want to cut out his tongue.
He was attracted by dirt in all its manifestations. He hated this passion and enjoyed when he "made the world cleaner."

His attempts to enter a criminal forensic medical examination failed - the family didn`t have sufficient finances, and treacherously didn`t have enough points for the budget place.

On the day of Joel`s greatest disappointment he killed another dirty stain of this world - his father. This talent for removing dirt after the killing was impressive. Joel knew the measure - he did not go too far and the crime scene did not look as if he had been completely torn off with bleach. It looked as if no one had thought to kill here. Untouched, peaceful territory. His father is still listed as missing.

Joel had no idea how the T. T. T. organization came to him. However, T. T. T. offered him a job. Full, well-paid. A job that would allow Joel to pay for university tuition. Since then, he is an ordinary employee of the organization, whose duties include the complete elimination of the body, blood and evidence. And he damn well does his job.
