Anubis - MMA Fighter
So, in my webcomic, the human on the fire=burned poster in the background has challenged Anubis to a fight. I think that was stupid of him, but you know...boys and their toys. Or something. Either way, this thing took forever to color just because I couldn't get the sweat to stop looking like spooge until this morning. And then I removed the sweat because it looked too much like veins.
Also, I haven't gotten around to figuring out how a fight between these two would actually pan out. Since Anubis can summon fire and other cool things. Higher-res image at DeviantArt (http://brewninja.deviantart.com/art.....hter-156655568) or just download.
Background:
Anubis is a deity. He rules an entire planet in another dimension, and often travels to both Earth and Terran dimensions. He may be gay, but Anubis is just a sexual being. Since he is a powerful god (powers, abilities to conjure up life, take and restore life, teleportation, suppression of pain), he can take and dish out quite a beating. He's created masses of cute fenines to help with enslaving Terran.
But, being a god, he doesn't possess the jackal physiology. He has pain centers, but doesn't feel pain everywhere on his being. He may bleed, but that really doesn't mean anything. Breaking his bones is fine, but he'll just regenerate them. He has an elevated demonic mode that includes a 14,000 lb strike force for all limbs individually, dark energy blasts, earthquakes, fire, lightning and teleportation. He can easily take someone's life, and give it back, but where would be the fun in giving it back?
In his standard state, he's strong and powerful, but reserved in his actions. In a fight, he'll keep within reason of his opponent unless he's pushed into that elevated state. He also has no issue taking a life. There's no grounds for morals when you are a god. But, if he likes you, he'll play "fair" and even let you beat him.
Aside from all that, his main point is expanding his empire. Any little step in that direction is a good step; which includes ridding potential empire expansions of any beings that may pose a threat to him. Better dead than weakened.
