Two classy ladies dueling in the alley with umbrellas...
Move along, it's just another day im Colmaton....
Something that spawned from an idea with stormwave since he managed to get accepted into the Colmaton group...
So something to commemorate that rare occasion, having his heroine Emily have her first encounter in Colmaton.... a collab pic of sorts, simple shading.
... going up against the Parasol in a french-on-french umbrella fencing duel apparently.
Notes about the Parasol in combat? While she avoids combat in general it's a mistake to think she's not good in combat. Her combat style is focused on defensive-counter attacks. She's proficient in a very large number of swordfighting styles, including many lost styles and some of her own devising.
This particular style is one of her more exotic defensive parrying styles with doubles as a threat display, where the typical move she does is to keep distance to her opponent with her umbrella's reach. If her opponent makes a jab at her she'd counter with a parry with her parasol and a backhand/baguette smack/wine bottle smash with her off hand.. or some other more exotic move like spinning past for her signature attack...
p.s. fighting poses are hard to draw....

That'd be an interesting fight, and an odd one given they seem to have the same choice of weapons.
