I've always been a lover of dragons and decided to draw the first main dragonets in Spyro style!
First up is Clay the Mudwing.
When I was drawing this, it dawned on me that there are five dragonets of destiny and five spyro home worlds in the first game. Hence a Spyro / Wings of Fire cross over was born!
In this idea, the Peace Keepers begin a civil war dragging the other home worlds into their conflict. A prophecy emerges saying that a dragonet from each of the home worlds will join together to reveal the true ruler of the Peace Keepers. I don't have all the details flushed out, but it is still fun!
I was originally going to make Clay a dragon from the Beast Makers home world since that world is basically a massive swamp, and he is a Mudwing, but I ended up thinking of a better dragon for that world. As a result, I ended up making Clay an Artisan dragon. You can often find him snooping around the chef dragons and trying to grab a bite. Artisan dragons tend to be surprisingly buff despite most of them being artisans in one craft or another. This world also fits Clay because of his name! His name is a medium artists use! Clay! I could see him growing up to be a big buff (and probably pudgy) chef type dragon. I imagine he would love chasing the sheep around the artisan home world too.
Clay is a surprisingly heat resistant dragon. He is able to pull a cake right out of the oven with his bare talons! Clay is also rather strong for a dragonet. He is able to smash and move boulders twice his size with ease.
Clay
Gender: Male
Home world: Artisans
Attacks: Charge, Fire breath
Abilities: heat resistant, strength
Dragonfly: An amber colored dragonfly named Munch
As an adult I could see him becoming a chef of some kind, mostly with meats. I imagine him living in the Town Square part of the Artisan home world, wrestling bulls and catching chickens to eat. Plus, those fire proof scales must come in handy when cooking. I think he would also have a side talent in music, specifically with string instruments (as seen in the part of Wings of Fire when he was a prisoner in Queen Scarlett's prison).
Despite Clay's name, he is not very good at throwing clay. He enjoys getting dirty, but I'm not sure the older dragons appreciate the mess as much.

I think he'd be a great cook, so long as he didn't eat everything he made right away XD
That is very true. XD Be like, "Here's what I made! :D" and .2 seconds later he slams his face into it to eat it all
Clay: I made you cookies.
Tsunami: Well... where are they?
Clay: -looks away embarrassed-
