This is a commissioned character presentation created by damiem .
This is the nineth and final of several character presentations that I and members of my online D&D group have commissioned Damien to depict. The adventuring party currently includes eight members. (Since I am the DM, I am technically not one of them!)
Side note to mention: we managed to regain two of our original players thanks to more amenable scheduling. We are back at the original eight members of this campaign, hooray!!
As of this submission we are currently in "part two" of the campaign, The Rise of Tiamat. This campaign has now gone on for over two and a half years, and I am happy to report that our long yet wonderful journey will be ending soon in one or two sessions. It is both a happy and a sad thing for me, but I feel relieved that myself and eight players are about to accomplish completing an entire Dungeons and Dragons campaign, thoroughly explored and expanded upon from start to finish.
For this particular presentation, it's actually the PC Luther Blackcastle...except that he has been transformed! After undergoing a long quest to pursue power and using the blood of a slain dragon and a dark ritual, Luther managed to transform himself into something...new. He is a half-dragon, yes, but nothing yet seen in all of Faerun. A creature of darkness and shade, his breath weapon deals Necrotic damage, and he is also resistant to Necrotic damage. Using his great blade Darkspire, he is now ready to take revenge against those who had wronged him, and show the world his capabilities.
In the campaign Luther and the adventuring party finally managed to return to Luther Blackcastle's home, the city-state of Axarmore. It was there that the party destroyed a dangerous realm-threatening artifact, and Luther also managed to confront his father who had estranged him many years before: Lord Asher Helmo Blackcastle.

Mr Damien has outdone himself with this but it is to be expected with his skill and abilities. I wonder how he would get along with my Hellfire dragon
I TPKed on this adventure after pissing off a white dragon. I hope he runs it again at some point. Everyone else at my table seems to have completed it. Cool character. I wish dragonborn were more like half-dragons with the wings and tails.
