Here we have another old comic Ive dug up, two of two intermission comics I did between semesters in school, so yeah another an HD-I-#2
So yeah really dating the comic here seeing as the Rabbids have gone full circle but yeah at the time I was fond of the little guys ( being a Rayman fan as well helped ) but with this one played heavily off the promo commercials they made for the first game, and to kind of capture the "weirdness " and childlike nature I did actually grab old crayons and coloured pencils to make the first 2 panels so another nice step out of the comfort zone. But yeah the comic I feel was a bit better "funny" wise even if its kind of generic, again I do miss the rabbids or at least what they started as.
Also another FULL COLOUR comic and some different style practice too. Looking back again Im pretty happy with how it all kind of came together the mix of the simple and then the detailed one. Also what the heck is Rayman's species anyway, is he a dream creature? I dont think its ever been said.
Again had all the old images in hi-rez and recreated. Done with traditional methods on traditional media, on 8x11 90lb printer paper, with crayons and coloured pencils and then digitally edited, cleaned up and coloured.
( note: to maintain as much of the original feel as possible this image is recreated at similar resolution )
