A recent post from a close friend of mine explaining their world gave me the idea to upload my map here where all of my characters live ((give or take a couple who're in space atm))
The current major towns are Grounde City, where the ruins of Idet's old castle, Castle Grounde, are locate, Blossom Town, where the Blooming Coliseum is located, and the Cloudy City of Toldenn, a steam punk floating city stuck in the Victorian era.
As well as that, there are various strongholds dotted around the place, owned by Akumu Garuma, a being from an alternate dimension here to collapse our current one using soul energy she's harvested. To aid in her efforts, she has been capturing various civilians, experimenting and mutating them into twisted entities known as Ages, spanning from four types:
Brutes: The strong powerhouse tanks. Designed to take hits and keep moving till their target is either incapacitated or dead, though not the smartest and can easily be won over in a test of wits
Mystics: A little more cunning then brutes. Able to use various conjured energy attacks as well as flight. However, they can be easily disoriented at close ranges
Special: Unique Ages, each specializing in their own abilities, ranging from hyper speed, perfect invisibility, and even reincarnation. There is no one way to deal with them as each one is different
Scouts: Push overs. Aim for the dick, it's hilarious
Within Blossom town holds the currently named Blooming Coliseum, which has been there since the days Castle Grounde stood tall, constructed before the town was built around it, and still remains in absolute perfect condition as if construction had finished that day. Within it's walls a set of events known as the Blooming Games, similar to the Olympics with more combat, are held, where teams compete for an unknown prize with only rumors surrounding it. Each team has heavy floral inspiration, with the four main ones being:
Team Rose: Lead by Beatrice, also known as Bloomed Gladiator Roze
Team Sakura: Lead by the mysterious Wilted Gladiator Sakure
Dandelions: Lead by Mina Ha, also known as Bloomed Gladiator Lione
Snapdragons: Lead by Cyril, also known as Wilted Gladiator Dragoon
Various teams have have come and gone, those these four have stood the longest, with only Team Sakura managing to win, rumors stated Sakure's team abandoned her after winning, causing her to not trust anyone to be on her team, though rumors can be deceiving. Lastly, an set of monsters resides within the coliseum's walls known as Spores, fungus like creatures that seem to have a hunger for the contestants, with seemingly higher ranked Spores sporting flowers of previous teams to partake in the events, possibly similar powers to their captains?
Next up, Grounde City! Just your typical city with typical city things, maybe the occasional Age attack. Shit happens ya know? A good chunk of my characters live here like Lacinda, KC, Cyan, Yami, and Iris, as well as a handful of others. It would take a good while if I went over where everyone lives.
Next we have the Cloudy City of Toldenn, the floating steampunk city where Countess Kay Lenton-Freen and Zylphia reside. The city is divided into 4 major quadrants and is large enough to have it's own rail system running through them all, as well as a few trolley systems acting as bus routes within the top 3. The quadrants being the usual upper, middle, and lower class divide with a fence between the upper and lower classes, meaning those in the lower class section need to traverse through the middle class section if they wish to visit the upper class, where the upper class and traverse through the fence with ease. Along with that is an "underground" slum that resides under the main city as some would refer to as the engine room, boiler room, or sewers for those snobby upperclassman. The city has it's own currency as well being in the form of Gears, coins with gear engravings on them or notes that have a holographic foil that give the illusion of clockwork parts moving along them, as a form of counterfeit protection.
Currency conversion: 1 TGN ((Toldenn Geared Note)) = $0.36 USD
Hybrid Sanctuary! This is where the hybrids live in a sort of refuge camp built by a human dryder by the name of Eris. It's inhabitants are primarily and almost exclusively hybrids, featuring merfolk, taurs, and harpies. Aside from that there is not much more to say about here. It's similar to Grounde City, only inside a complex built out of concrete and Eris' silk
Sai's Base, also known as the Elemental Den, where magic occurs. Here's where the Elemental Guardian Sai lives alongside the four Elementals, Aero ((The air and light elemental)), Ember ((the fire elemental)), Marine ((the water and electricity elemental)), and Quake ((the earth and life elemental)). They monitor the land with the help of the goddess Gaia, who only these five have contact with, as well as defend the Elemental Gems, of where there are 10, being Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Life, Death, Light, Dark, Electricity/Lightning, and the all powerful Rainbow, which has the all the abilities of the previous 9 with next to none of the draw back, though only those deemed worthy by Gaia are able to utilize it
I believe that is everything that would be needed to talk about. The Ruins are the ruins of Lacinda's previous home town, and the lab was Lacinda and CO's previous home base before the took over an AGES stronghold to use for themselves
Fun fact, this region is so heavily based off Kamen Rider that even it's name is another form of it
