How To Draw Clifton Sea Lion (Actual Drawing)
Here's how to draw my surfer sea lion.
Step 1: Draw 6 jagged lines for the ruffle of hair on top of Clifton's head.
Step 2: Use the arch on the side of the head to make the ear. Make a smaller arch for the other ear.
Step 3: Use the ovals to help draw the eyes. Draw a line in the middle of the eyes to make them half-open. Then draw two arches for pupils, and shade them in, except for a small white patch for glare. This gives Cliff his lethargic appearance. Draw a curve above both eyes for eyebrows.
Step 4: Draw a rounded triangle for the nose. At the bottom of the nose, draw two hook-like curves. Have the right curve go back into the face to show a smile. Draw a long curve below the left curve for Clifton's chin. Draw two lines on either side of the mouth to make whiskers.
Step 5: Draw a line that goes down and breaks off into two jagged lines. This'll be the left side of Clifton's head. For the right side, just draw a line that goes down into the mouth.
Step 6: Draw a jagged line in the middle of the chest.
Step 7: For the arm, draw a line starting from the left cheek and going down. Then draw another line that goes up into a thumb. Draw two curved lines for more fingers. Then draw a curve to form the pinkie and draw another line that breaks into two jagged lines for the elbow and draw back up. For the other arm just draw a line.
Step 8: Use the circle to help you draw the belly.
Step 9: At the point where the construction lines, draw an oval for the bellybutton and draw a curve underneath.
Step 10: For the bathing suit, draw a long line that goes from one side of the circle to the other for the top. Then draw down from the right side, then curve over, then back up. Do the same thing for the other side. Draw a shape in the middle like that of a shoelace for the rope. Then draw a fish and circular bubbles on the right shorts leg.
Step 11: For the left leg, draw a line starting from the left point and going down. Then follow the oval to make the foot and draw back into the shorts for the other side of the leg. Draw two curved lines to make the toes. Follow this step again for the other leg.
