I need to purge a lot of ideas from my head by dumping them onto a canvas. Its been a fruitful year studying art at college and there's many artpieces I've seen I want to do my own riff on. This was a quick job over Sarah Lucas' Self-Portrait. There was more details I wanted to add, along with reworking the hands, and I guess background too. But I've a lot of ground to cover and this was just a test piece to see if I still knew how to use krita after drawing with conte pencil and pastels the past several months.
The rumours of me having a new fursona are true. This is Vosyl who now represents me. Rachel has only 'retired' from the spotlight because I felt it would be awkward to have her represent herself as a character and me as the author. It was only going to get weirder when I start the webcomic as I didn't want her to come off as a self-insert. I love all twelve of the main characters and they need their equal share of screen time.

I love her shirt; the egg pattern is so cute! You did such a good job on the background too
I missed out some details from the Lucas self-portrait, I didn't feel confident that I could get them to look as in-perspective as everything else. I love it as it is, but I did want those homely details with the ashtray and VCR on a rack. Still, thank you!
You're welcome! It looks like challenging perspective to get right
Bunnies are not breakfast plates. Those were perfectly good eggs. :(
