Just a simple run cycle animation I did of one of those Chaser animals that keep showing up in my sketch compilations. Long story short I kind of want to make a game with them someday, though that dream is a long way off atm.
The animal itself is a bit like some sort of alien hyena- it's got the same general shape, but it has hooved feet and a beaked face.
The game would be a survival one, focused on immersing the player as thoroughly in the experience of being an animal as possible- with unusual and in-depth mechanics for the creature's health and movement that aim to lend the player as much precise control and potential for emergent play as possible. I've got ideas for how it could work both in single and multiplayer, as well as in third-person mundane screen POVs and first-person VR POVs? And some loose ideas about the game's goals and, in solo, story (though said story would be pretty inconcrete and meant to be created as much by the player as by the game itself).
