I know, right? It's ridiculous. And the health care reform already passed, which is good. It's one of the things people were looking forward to. So things ARE being accomplished. But people need to understand that the president is in office for four whole years (longer if reelected) and that's a long time to get things done. Yet everyone is getting angry in the first year because 'omg he isn't doing what he said!'

I may not agree with everything Obama's done, but I can't help but laugh at the people going around ranting either that he's not getting anything done, (I loved the ones saying it by his 100th day in office.) or that universal healthcare is socialism and SOCIALISM BAD, HULK SMASH. If anything, we need to be a MORE socialist country. Higher taxes, sure, but at least the taxes go to something for us.

On an even more divergent note: I just thought of something, the healthcare reform doesn't go into effect until 2013, Obama will likely be out of office unless he does something tremendous that makes EVERYONE happy, I just hope the next president doesn't kill the thing just as it's about to go into effect. D:
