Lilligant's a real cute pokemon and I like carnivorous plant preds so YEH NOMS
I like to think it's kinda like a pitcher plant where digesty stuff builds up and then food things get thrown into it and stuff's absorbed through the walls, so there isn't really intestines or anything like that, just belly
And here's the comics!
The version with just the noms!
And the version that has the noms and the lilligant coughing up what's left post-digestion! (skeleton and stuffs) Like the clothes and bones would have sat in the pitcher belly otherwise, so they'd kinda have to clear it out once enough stuff built up.

Thanks! It's always neat to hear things like that!
Oooh, I haven't seen Lilligant used for this sort of thing in forever! Thank you so much for the underrated pred attention! ^O^
You're very welcome, it was super fun! I'll probably do a thing with Audino pred sometime 'cause that's another of my favorite pokemon
Gosh, that one part of the comic, that face when she realizes...MMm!
Yessss that wasn't in the original version, but I thought it needed something like that with how everything was kinda sealed up there
No matter what sort of things you draw, it's still cute no matter how grim.
I love this set, the grunt's expression and the casualness of the lilligant is a lovely blend~ :3

Baaah thank you x//3
I do love the contrast between the cuteness and how brutal something getting eaten actually is

Thanks! I do really like seeing how things went like that, so it's pretty trashy of me but I can't help but sit and add a lot of detail to it!
MAN that is so freaking good.
I feel like not enough people push the desperation/terror angle the way you do.
I really want to do more of that myself!

Oooh do iiit! It's always fun to see!
I just really like show characters expressing things, so it's fun to show how much it effects the prey

Now THAT is an acid-filled pitcher. I love the beam of light that shuts off when the mouth closes, too.
Yeah I thought that'd be neat! Also tried to make the light hitting the liquid kind of like it would with honey, so make the pool look like it's thicker, but not sure how that turned out
You know, it's a detail I didn't pick up on before but I definitely think it worked.
Fantastic, like your work always is! I especially love the way you drew some of the expressions.
Expressions are my favorite thing to do! So that means a lot x3
Plant preds are in my top 3, glad to see you shed more light on them! The fear factor was great in contrast with the cute predators danced smile!
Decided to write a little story based on the POV of that Lilligant’s trainer if it has one. Styled it as a reddit post too.

My Lilligant just coughed up a tiny skeleton
(Seeking advice)
I know that by the title alone you might think I’m trolling you guys, but I swear it’s true! I’ve got pictures and everything!
I forget exactly how I came to the name Darling for my Lilligant, but when I first caught her when she was just a Petlil, she just responded to it more than the name Opal. Before she evolved, she was a mischievous little gremlin that took advantage of her small size to get in heaps of trouble. On more than one occasion I had to pick up bits of broken glass and patch her up because she decided to take a nap in a vase that would invariably get knocked over when she woke up. When Darling evolved, she mellowed out considerably, but her behavior changed from being a little rascal to being both temperamental and the opposite of a picky eater. I’d often come home to see that she had raided the pantry when I didn’t take her with me on short errands. She’d also throw tantrums whenever something didn’t go her way, like the time I had friends over for dinner and she tried to snatch a slice of pizza meant for someone else. Thankfully, these tantrums didn’t result in the residence being absolutely trashed, but I had to get quite a few dishes and pillowcases replaced.
After I turned 24, I started taking Darling out on walks through the woods around Castelia City, where she and I live. On occasion the two of us would get separated for up to ten minutes, but either I’d find her or she’d find me. She also seemed to like getting food from the forest, because on more than one occasion I had to clean up what assorted stuff she accumulated after eating such as nuts and seeds. Though people might brush this off as their Pokémon trying to reconnect with the wild, the two of us would get separated more and more frequently. Sometimes I’d have to pick tiny bits of plastic out of her spit up. There was also an incident where she somehow had eaten an empty yet unopened soda can (seriously this is why people say litter is a problem) that had to be removed by a Nurse Joy. Now she’s coughed up a literal tiny human skeleton done up in Team Plasma gear and the skull of a bird Pokémon. I’m thinking of keeping a closer eye on her and making sure we don’t get separated during future walks, but I want to hear what you guys have to say.

Hah that was actually pretty cool! Thanks for that write up!
I definitely wouldn't let my Lilligant run off on her own like that (both 'cause I'd worry and 'cause I'd wanna see what she'd manage to catch :3)
